There are many great recognizable killers and survivors in the asymmetric multiplayer horror gameDead By Daylight. With the game licensing properties from video games and film, there are plenty of possibilities for future content. But, even though most of the love tends to go towards the well-known playable characters, most of the iconic locations from those series have made brilliant maps.

The Saw,Halloween,Silent Hill, andResident Evilhave all produced some of the best maps in the game. While Behaviour Interactive might have to figure out some characters to go along with them, there are many more series with locations that would make for some excellent maps in Dead By Daylight.
10The Skeld From Among Us
At this point, nobody can deny that the original map inAmong Usis one of the most recognizable of recent years. Anyone who has played Among Us is already deeply familiar with the layout of this ship.
The rooms in the Skeld should translate well to Dead By Daylight, just replace some of the tasks with a generator. Who knows, you could even see a crewmate get added as a survivor and an imposter as a killer. It would be especially satisfying if survivors could float out ofthe Entity’s Realminto the dark reaches of space.
9Dracula’s Castle From Castlevania
There are many iconic castles throughout popular culture, but Dracula’s Castle fromCastlevaniastands out as one of the most suitable. It would fit the creepy vibes of Dead By Daylight, especially if it were to be accompanied by the head vampire himself.
While the games have depicted the castle over the years, there have been so many of them that it might be better if this version was based on the animated series instead, so Behaviour could do more of a direct interpretation. Although it would probably be best if the castle didn’t disappear or flip upside down while you were repairing a generator.
8Endor From Star Wars
The Forest Moon of Endor has already been recognized for its terrifying potential whenStar Wars Battlefront 2introduced Ewok Hunt, an infected game mode where Ewoks hunted down troopers at night.

Of course, Endor might not be the firstStar Warscrossover that you might want for Dead By Daylight, but there’s no denying that it would fit in well. Sure, Darth Vader might never chase you down, but we could always hide from killers around the trees of Endor, with Ewoks cheering us on.
7The Antarctica Research Station From The Thing
Dead By Daylight already has a snowy map, Ormond Ski Resort. But, it doesn’t get much creepier than the Antarctic station from 1982’s The Thing. Sure, it might be too hard to get The Thing into the game as a killer, but Behaviour could always put the abandoned station into the game before or after everyone’s already dead.
It might be nice to have a dog in a locked-off kennel too, but only if The Entity spares animals. Though nobody would say no to Kurt Russell’s MacReady or Keith David’s Childs as survivors.
TheDead Spacefranchise might have enough material for a full chapter with Isaac Clarke as a survivor and a Necromorph as a killer, but we are most interested in how the Ishimura would shine as a map.
Behaviour could find a clever way to integrate the zero-gravity areas of the ship into the game, if it didn’t break it too much. But even if it’s just a standard map, the creepy abandoned hallways, and tram system would make for an interesting gameplay loop. Plus, Nemesis and Dredge would fit right in.
5The Spencer Mansion From Resident Evil
One of the best-looking maps already in the game is the Raccoon City Police Department from the Resident Evil series. But, running around the Spencer Mansion from the original Resident Evil would be amazing. It has everything you would want from a great map, with tight corridors, verticality, and outdoor areas.

The only thing against including this map would be that it might need to be released alongside skins rather than new characters because Chris, Jill, andWesker are all already playablein Dead By Daylight. Maybe they’ll use Barry Burton or the Tyrant.
4The Winchester Tavern From Shaun of the Dead
Shaun of the Dead probably isn’t remembered for its location, but that doesn’t mean that The Winchester would be a bad map. Powering up the generators could turn on areas of the pub, activating the fruit machine as well as the lights. It could also activate music through the Jukebox, except it wouldn’t be Queen this time.
Like RCPD, The Winchester could be accompanied by the noises of snarling zombies. If they did add the watering hole as a map, it might not be too much of a stretch to add Simon Pegg’s Shaun and Nick Frost’s Ed as survivors. After all, they did manage toget Nicolas Cage.
3The Mall From The Last of Us
If the mall fromThe Last of Uswasn’t already iconic after The Last of Us: Left Behind, its appearance in the HBO adaptation has cemented that status. A whole chapter based on the HBO series or Naughty Dog’s award-winning games would be excellent, but the series' characters may not fit the game’s vibe.
So, instead of worrying about Joel, Ellie, Tommy, or Riley, it would be great if we could run up and down the escalators, smash through the Halloween store, and hop over some arcade machines in a map based on that mall.
2Hell From Doom
If Behaviour wants to shake up Dead By Daylight’s content, there’ll need to be some maps that aren’t your bleak, shadowy forests or abandoned buildings. Partnering up with ID Software and designing a map from hell might be a little extreme, but it would fit perfectly.
It wouldn’t need to be hell directly either, as it could be a portion of Hell On Earth, with a hellish background but in a New York City skyscraper. It could even be a fully-fledged DLC with the Doom Slayer as a survivor and one ofDoom’smany demons as a killer.
1The Sewers From Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
If Behavior does want to stay fresh, a completely underground map would be great for Dead By Daylight. The base of theTeenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, the sewers of New York, could work well. Imagine getting chased by a killer into the Turtle Lair, running around their couch, and hiding behind the iconic Turtle Van, the Party Wagon.
There could be an aboveground element to the map as well, with survivors falling through sewer grates to reach the lower level. Let’s just hope none of the killers are fond of turtle soup.
