Despite all of this doom and gloom, however, Link has some very important things to take care of before saving the world again. Whether it be because you want to put off completing the main story, or if it’s just because Link really doesn’t have a care in the world, here are a bunch of things you can go and do before facing the end of the world.

7Help Someone With Their Plush Problems

Along your adventures through Hyrule, you may bump into a young lady and her wagon of Sand Seal Plushies. Talking to her will startle her, startling the horse too, and sends all of those plushes flying out of the wagon.

Link can take part in a little gameto help her collect all of the plushes, which is just lovely of him. Do it again? Of course, just scare her over and over, and Link can ignore everything else while he goes around picking up adorable Sand Seals indefinitely.

After showing them how a Steering Stick can be used to control a device, Link will be driving around a makeshift course to beat the high score. Wind blowing in his hair, glory and riches to his name - maybe someone else should go deal with Ganondorf.

Josha’s research will have you delving into the Depths, learning about what’s down there, what the structures could mean, and figuring out if there’s anything related to the Upheaval or the Demon King.

There may very well be some answers down there somewhere, but Link knows whatisdown there, and that’s a Lynel Arena. In one of the hidden away colosseums, you will have to face Lynel after Lynel after Lynel… a tough fight, but when treasure awaits at the end of it, surely it’s worth the detour.

1Build A Lovely Dream Home

There are enough people losing sleep over the fate of Hyrule and the wrath of the Demon King, but Link? Link is losing sleep purely because he lacks a bed.

Once you’ve helped out with Mattison in Tarrey Town, you can go ahead and buy some land. Is buying land in a doomed kingdom cheaper? Maybe… anyway, get some land for yourself and then Link can get absolutely lost in contractor work and build a house of his own.

A three-story house with a rooftop pool? A bungalow with a little guest house? Maybe just some botanical gardens and a place for all your horses? Whatever that dream, make it come true - who knows how long the kingdom has left.
