WhileRedfallfollows certain gaming trends and includes a few classic gaming tropes, it’s mostly an original adventure. After all, how many games out there provide an FPS open-world experience where you fight vampires? It’s a unique premise that no other major title has really done.

Yet, that doesn’t mean there has never been a game similar to Redfall in any way. There are other titles that have comparable in terms of gameplay, presentation, or tone. So, if you liked Redfall but are sad that you’ve finished it, there are several other options to fill the void. Here are a few of the most notable ones that you should check out.
7Dying Light 2: Stay Human
Instead of an open world filled with vampires,Dying Light 2provides you one with zombies - or zombie-like creatures. These infected monsters have taken over the world. Yet, your character, Aiden, is still willing to traverse the zombie-filled streets as he searches for his sister.
The game draws comparisons to Redfall because it’s also an open-world FPS with horror elements. The core gameplay is a bit different, though, as you don’t use guns in Dying Light 2. Instead, you make use of melee weapons and bows. Plus, you have plenty of parkour skills that can help when fighting or moving around.
6Aliens: Fireteam Elite
There are manygames based on the Alien franchise, but the one that resembles Redfall the most is Aliens: Fireteam Elite. It’s a squad-based shooter where you choose a class and use their specific abilities to hold your own against dangerous Xenomorphs.

So, it’s a bit like the co-op experience in Redfall, except you face aliens instead of vampires. The story premise is a little different, too, as you play as a Colonial Marine, who is answering a distress signal received from a refinery station. And when you get there, it quickly becomes clear why they called.
5Back 4 Blood
If your favorite part of Redfall is teaming up with friends and fighting monsters, then Back 4 Blood is worth your attention. In the game, you go through various campaigns where your main objective is typically to get to the next checkpoint by surviving the hordes of different monsters you face. And in this case, defense is the best form of attack, as you’re encouraged to kill the creatures you face, which is good because the FPS gunplay is very satisfying, like in Redfall.
Another similarity to the Arkane game is the fact you’re able to choose between various characters. You can change them a bit in Back 4 Blood by equipping them with different cards that alter their stats and give them special bonuses.
4Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodhunt
While there are plenty ofgames where you play as vampires, there aren’t many where you hunt them, which is what makes Redfall stand out. Yet, Vampire: The Masquerade - Blood Hunt blends both of those concepts together.
This is because it’s a free-to-play battle royale where you play as a vampire and try to outlast all the others. You don’t exactly fight as the vampires in Redfall do. You have both guns and melee weapons you’re able to use to take out the other vampires instead. On top of that, you do have some powers you’d expect a vampire to have.
3Prey
The whole presentation of Redfall, from the character models to the UI, is similar to Arkane’s other games, such as Prey. In this title, though, you’re not roaming around a town. You’re stuck within a space station that has been taken over by an alien force known as Typhon.

Your ultimate goal is to escape the place and eliminate the extraterrestrials. Along the way, you make all sorts of moral decisions that impact how it all plays out. When you’re not making choices, you’re dealing with the various creatures around the station. You can do that by killing them with your various guns or sneaking around them.
2Borderlands 3
Even though the situation that’s presented in Redfall is dire, the game is still pretty light-hearted. This is also the case in Borderlands 3, where the protagonists are always in a constant state of danger due to the fact they’re roaming Pandora, which is among the deadliest andbest fictional planets in gaming.
You play as your choice of protagonist, and you have to stop the evil Children of the Vault who are attempting to acquire many valuable vaults on Pandora. Along with being light-hearted, Borderlands 3 is reminiscent of Redfall because of its colorful presentation and focus on cooperative play.
1Far Cry 5
Despite being set in a very different world from Redfall,Far Cry 5feels a lot like it. After all, both games are set in colorful open worlds filled with interesting things to look at. Plus, they both offer optional stealth and tight FPS gunplay.
In Far Cry 5, though, you don’t have to deal with vampires. But you do still have to contend with cultists. These people worship the man who runs the entire fictional region of Montana where the game is set. His name is Joseph Seed, and he is a charismatic preacher that you’re attempting to bring down. To do so, you have to loosen his stranglehold over the region.
