Deep Rock Galacticis one of the most well-made action RPG indie games. The game does not come with a hefty price tag and is constantly being updated. It is one of the best rogue-like multiplayer shooters out there, and you’re able to easily get stuck into the Dwarf co-op fun. But is the DLC worth it?

This list will rank each DLC pack available for Deep Rock Galactic from least to most worthwhile for players. Most of these packs are cosmetic only, as the game provides free Seasonal updates that bring you new challenges and enemies.
9MegaCorp Pack
Of all the cosmetic skins you may purchase on the storefronts, the MegaCorp skins are the least interesting. The color scheme turns weapons and tools white with some black accents.
Overall, a white equipment skin is not a lot of change to warrant getting this DLC pack over the others. MegaCorp looks pretty clean, but if you are looking for something more to stand out from the crowd you may want one of the other cosmetic packs.
You can be rewarded better weapon skins in-game for free by finding hidden caches during missions.
8Rival Tech Pack
Rival Tech is a pretty new theme that came to us with the veryfirst Deep Rock Galactic season, Rival Incursion. Deadly, red-beaming robots became the norm.
There is now armor and weapons to match these enemies. The armor in this pack is a bit lackluster because the only difference is brown coloring. The real prize with this pack is in the weapon skins, where there are tons of red lights glowing from each weapon.
7Robot Rebellion Pack
One of the good things about this cosmetic pack is that the weapon skins and armor skins meet together in quality. With most of these cosmetic packs, only one part of it is creative and worth it for people. In this pack, one set of skins is not overly better than the other.

Like with the other packs, you will also get a skin for your pickaxe and for Bosco. The best part about the armor skin is that Engineer and Scout get capes with theirs. The helmets are what make the armor shine otherwise.
Dawn of The Dread will really set you apart from other players. The cosmetic skins for armorturn you into a demonic Glyphid. What better way to increase friendly fire than to look like the enemy?
This cosmetic pack also comes with matching skins for your weapons, pickaxe, and a skin for Bosco.
5Dark Future Pack
Dark Future is pretty cool. The weapons and armor for this skin pack get blacked out. The most important part of this pack is that your goggles and armor will glow the associated color of the character.
The weapon skins may be a hit or miss, but the armor sets from the Dark Future pack steal the show entirely. Most of your time in-game mining will be in the dark, making this skin even cooler when you glow.
4Rough Neck Pack
The Rough Neck pack is humorous and unique, making it one of the best. This cosmetic pack allows you to dress up as the hard-working, no-soft-hands tradesmen your dwarves really are.

Every class gets construction worker pants with matching tools and a skin for Bosco. The most important part of this pack is that each class gets an epic arm tattoo, with Scout’s being dedicated to Molly.
3Biohazard Pack
Biohazard is one of the best skins for its uniqueness and difference from the default skins. Each class gets suited up in a blue hazmat suit, with the helmets stealing the show. The helmet goggles will each glow the associated color of that class.
When you and your friends show up dripped in Biohazard skins, the monsters will have to fear you. The cosmetic skins for your pickaxe, Bosco, and weapons will share the same blue tone as the suit.
2Supporter Upgrade
The Supporter Upgrade is the best pack to get because it makes the most difference in-game. Everything gets painted in gold when you get this DLC pack.
Gold armor, gold weapons, gold Bosco. You also get a unique Ghost Ship Games helmet which is quite literally the logo of the developer, on your head.A complimentary golden chalice is added, too.
When you get this upgrade, your name will be gold-plated in-game and your Supporter badge as well. This allows you to show other players just how cool you really are.
1Supporter Upgrade II
There is a second-grade Supporter Upgrade pack. You once again get gold-plated armor, weapons, and gold Bosco, but they are styled a bit differently. The first upgrade just made your default skin gold.
This upgrade actually changes the armor and adds some dark accents. You get a really cool mohawk helmet shimmering in gold. Of all the purchasable skins, this one will command the most respect for sure.
Whether you get the second upgrade or the first, you will still get a gold username in-game and a Supporter badge.
