Therewardsyou can receive from accumulating Renown canrange from unique and powerful gear to Orchestrion Rolls to rare Materialsand pretty much anything else you may think of. There are16 Renown Rewardstotal, and you will need to earn a ton of Renown to get all of them, but your efforts will be well rewarded with some of the best equipment in the game.
What Is Renown
Before diving into the rewards you can expect from accruing Renown in Final Fantasy 16, let’s reviewall the available methods to earn that Renownfirst. However, it should be noted that youcannot obtain Renown Rewards untilyou complete the ‘Release’Sub Quest.
ThisSub Questispart of The Gathering Storm Main Quest,so youdon’t have to worry about it becoming unavailableor missing it altogether. Once you havecompleted this Sub Quest,you will gain access to thePatron’s Whisper,where you canclaim donationsfrom the Patrons ofCid’s Hideaway.
Receiving Donations
Toreceive a donation,you mustmeet a specific Renown milestone,whichcan be raised through several activities.
Once you haveaccumulated enough Renown,you canclaim your donations by visiting the Patron’s WhisperinCid’s Hideaway.This will be foundjust to the left of Nektar, the Moogle.Here, you canspeak to Desireetoobtain your Renown Rewardsand check how much is needed for future donations.
Earning Renown
When it comes to earning Renown, you canpartake in Hunts via the Hunt Boardin the Hideaway orcomplete Sub Quests found within the Hideaway and throughout the world of Valisthea.Main Quests will also net you Renown, butbe sure to clear up all the available Hunts and Side Quests before advancing the story!
You cansee how much Renown you will earn from Sub Quests and Main Questsbyhovering over their icon on your Mapor byreviewing themin yourJournal.you’re able to alsocheck the Bounty Rewardsvia theHunt Board,whichcontains the Renown payoutfor all available Hunts.
We strongly suggest tackling all available Sub Quests and Hunts as they become available, as you will not only earn Renown for your efforts but will also obtain rare Crafting Materials and lots of Ability Points as well. This will allow you to get your hands on extremely powerful gear and abilities early on, which will be helpful later in your journey!
