InFinal Fantasy 16, side quests are not only the best way to learn more about the intricacies of the world of Valisthea, but they’re also great for giving yourself a palpable power-up in the form of raw resources, rare accessories, and plenty of ability points.

Like the other explorable regions in the game, Sanbreque - the first of the explorable regions you’ll come across - has plenty of side quests for you to complete. Whether they deal with the small village of Lostwing or the town of Northreach, we’ve got the quests detailed below.
The rest of the side quests available in Sanbreque will be added to this guide as we complete our coverage of Final Fantasy 16. Please be patient and check back for more quests in the future!

Welcoming Committee
Alain
Talk to the Exhausted Bearer right next to Alain’s starting position and retrieve them some food from the Sobersided Shopkeeper in the inn.
Dying on the Vine
Emile
Head to the quest location in the vineyard outside Lostwing and defeat the Vintner Wasp packs.
The Want Beyond the Wall
Etienne, Merchant
Retrieve three items from the merchants outside the wall, and return them to Etienne.
Friend of the People
Mathieu, Oriflamme Official
Deliver the food to three bearers around Northreach and then speak to the Veil Courtesan at the Veil.
You will only be able to deliver food to the bearer in the garrison after delivering to the other two.
Meteorite x1
All Bark
Benoit, Oriflamme Grandee
Find the nobleman’s son to the west and slay the Rabid Wolf. Return to Benoit, give either answer, and then bury the fallen bearers back to the west.
Playthings
Lisette
Speak to the Fastidious Farmwife down the path and then find Chloe near the nearby windmill.
For Great Justice
Quinten
Speak to three NPCs around Lostwing, including a Herbmother, who will trigger the next part of this quest. When prompted, head to Laubert’s Pass and defeat the Black Shields there. After defeating them, return to Lostwing and talk to Quinten.
For Great Justice II
Head to the vineyard to the west of Lostwing and speak to the bearers there. Then, go to Heavenhall, which is directly south of the Dragon’s Aery Obelisk through a narrow path, and defeat the Minas there. After the cutscenes, defeat the Akashic in Lostwing. Then, find and speak to Quinten.

Under New Management
Isabelle
Head to the garrison to meet the duke. After, speak to the three marked townspeople in the markets outside Northreach and then the three townspeople within Northreach. Finally, speak to Phillipe to the north of town and report to Isabelle to complete the quest.
Under New Management II
Find Phillipe outside the markets and speak to him, then slay the enemies at Greagor’s Weep to the southeast. After the cutscenes, head to the quest destination to the north of town and slay the enemies there. Speak to Isabelle to complete the quest.
