Destiny 2’sSeason of the Deep has released its ninth set of Seasonal Challenges. Some of this week’s challenges offer massive XP and Bright Dust bundles to help players complete their Season Pass. Only six challenges were added this week, but most of them are fairly easy to complete or retroactive.

This week, players will need to defeat combatants in Salvage, earn a Last Rite ornament, and complete Crucible matches. While most of these challenges are straightforward, there are some strategies you can use to speed up the Seasonal Challenge grind. This guide will cover all six challenges this week, all completion rewards, and provide tips for completing each as quickly as possible.

Rapid Salvager:Rapidly defeat combatants in Salvage activities.

Reward

Rapid Salvager is a fairly easy Seasonal Challenge. You’ll need toland 30 multikills in the Salvage playlist.Equip your favorite build and start slaying. Machine Guns and Wave-Frame Grenade Launchers are recommended.

Patience Perfected:Catch Legendary or Exotic fish at any Fish Pond.

Destiny 2 Season of the Deep Guardian Fishing-1

This challenge requires you tocatch five Legendary or Exotic fish.Patience Perfected isnot retroactive. You can view your Tackle Box from the inventory menu to check your current bait capacity, which pond is active, and how many Broken Blades you currently own for theWhetstone Exotic mission.

As for catching the fish, you’ll want tofish at a pond with high player activity.Anyone that catches a Legendary or Exotic fish will increase the probability of catching rarer fish, denoted by a progress bar on your HUD. Catch as many fish as you can until the challenge is complete.

Destiny 2 Last Rite Warrior Rubric Vanguard Ornament

Rewards

This challenge is retroactive.

This season’s ritual weapon, Last Rite, has three unique ornaments you can earn. These ornaments are earned byreaching Rank 16 twice with Zavala, Shaxx, or the Drifter during the season.If you don’t have any of these ornaments or the Last Rite Scout Rifle, check out ourLast Rite guide.

Eyeing Iron

Eyeing Iron:Complete Crucible matches. Earn bonus progress in Iron Banner and for victories.

Complete 15 Crucible matchesto finish this Seasonal Challenge. Wins and Iron Banner matches grant bonus progress, although Iron Banner itself isn’t always available. Strangely, Iron Banner isn’t active the week Eyeing Iron becomes available, so you might want to wait for a future week before completing this challenge.Any Crucible playlist counts, so feel free to farm Rumble or any rotating playlist for quick matches.

Ethereal Might

Ethereal Might:Defeat targets with an Arc, Strand, or Void subclass equipped in Gambit. Bonus progress is granted for ability final blows and defeating Guardians.

Ethereal Might requires you todefeat 200 Gambit foes while an Arc, Strand, or Void subclass is equipped.We recommend most players use an Arc subclass, as most Arc subclasses have a clear ability loop that’s easy to build for. We cover some powerful Arc builds in our build guides linked below:

Rapid Precision

Rapid Precision:Get rapid precision final blows. Bonus progress is granted for every defeated target after the second one.

Landing150 precision final blowswill complete this Seasonal Challenge. That seems like a large requirement at first glance, but any kill across all activities will count for this challenge. You can equip a Sniper Rifle,Machine Gun, Scout Rifle, or Hand Cannon to land easy precision kills in PvE activities.Multikills grant bonus progress.Some good activities include Salvage, the opener to Grasp of Avarice, the Shuro Chi encounter in Last Wish, and most Lost Sectors found on Neomuna and Savathun’s Throne World.
