That’s because Amazon’s stopgap between the two, Big Deal Days, is back.Running across October 8 and 9, Big Deal Days is an opportunity for those who like to get their holiday shopping out of the way nice and early to bag a few bargains.
Almost anything and everything you could want for less will likely be on sale in some form or fashion on Amazon during Big Deal Days. Tracking down the stuff you want with the biggest discounts is easier said than done, though. As great as the latter looks, and as good as the games you play will look on both, they’re expensive consoles, so why not grab some games for it for less while you’re able to?
The PlayStation section of this guide isn’t exclusively for prospective PS5 Pro owners, of course. There are sale games above for those of you with a basePS5, and even forPS4owners happy to stick around in the last-gen for a little while longer. Even if nothing above has you reaching for your card right now, we’ll be adding more deals to every section during the build to Big Deal Days and throughout once the event is live.
The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom
The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom sees you play as the titular princess, searching for Link and saving Hyrule in the process. She uses the Tri Rod to created echoes, duplicates of everything from tables to enemies, to help her on her journey.

Minecraft is the best-selling game of all time, shifting 300 million copies and counting. Available on all platforms, the Switch version of this behemoth of a game lets you keep creating on the go, or just in handheld while the TV is otherwise occupied.
Mario Party Superstars
Mario Party Superstars is the second outing for the multiplayer title on Nintendo Switch, launching in 2021. It features over 100 minigames and brings back several boards from past titles in the series.
Even though the Nintendo Switch was released more than seven years ago, and we know a successor is coming soon even thoughNintendowon’t tell us anything about it, its biggest games rarely drop in price. The Switch is almost certainly about to become the best-selling console of all time, 21 of its games have sold more than ten million copies, so Nintendo is doing okay. I think it’ll survive if we grab a few of its games for less.
All of that being said, since Switch games continue to sell well, even when they are on sale, it’s usually only a few dollars saved here and there. With that in mind, we’ve tried to hunt down some of the biggest games on Switch that, even though it might not be by much in most cases, are available for less during Big Deal Days with more to come during the sale event itself.

LEGO 2K Drive is an open-world racing game that features LEGO vehicles and sets. You can unlock new types of vehicles to speed across the various terrains designed to look like the popular play blocks.
Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown
Prine of Peria: The Lost Crown is a reboot of the iconic action-adventure series. It’s a 2.5D side-scrolling game with plenty of platforming and fighting. You play as new hero, Sargon, who travels to a cursed city to rescue Prince Ghasson.

However, if you don’t have Game Pass, whether you were never interested in the first place or the price increases have put you off, you can just treat yourSeries X|SorXbox Onelike a regular console.
Sure, Game Pass is still a great deal, but that really does depend on how often you use it. If you’re only playing a few games a year, then it might be cheaper to just buy those games. Especially when some of those games are on sale, and right now there are some big ones available for less thanks to Big Deal Days. Some of the games above aren’t even available on Game Pass, so grab them for less while you can.
