Disney has almost a century of its own history to pull from when it comes to characters it can turn into Funko Pop! figures too. Since Marvel and Star Wars are still sort of their own thing, even if Leia and Ms. Marvel are technically Disney princesses now, this particular list has been reserved for traditional Disney characters. Still so many to choose from, below are some of what we think are the very best traditional Disney Funko Pop! figures available right now.

Wall-e Funko Pop!

Now, where’s Eva?

Wall-e, one of the cutest characters Pixar has ever created, as an adorable little Funko Pop! He’s even brought you a little trash cube.

There’s a very strong argument to be made that Pixar movies piqued with the creation of Wall-e. One of the very best movies the studio has ever made, largely because it’s filled with emotion without either of its main characters needing to speak at all. Well, other than saying each other’s names and the occasional other word. Wall-e is the perfect Funko not only because he’s small, but also because he is an iconic character and oh-so adorable.

The Nightmare Before Christmas Jack Skellington Lab Funko Pop!

Take A Trip To Halloween Town

Too often overlooked when people run through their favorite Disney movies, The Nightmare Before Christmas is an inarguable classic. Celebrate that with your very own Jack Skellington Funko Pop!

Every time I run through my favorite Disney movies during heated debates with fellow fans, I briefly forget Nightmare Before Christmas is, in fact, a Disney movie. Very different from everything else Disney was putting out at the time, Tim Burton’s classic made a mark not only because it was very un-Disney, but because it’s a darn good movie. Everyone knows who Jack Skellington is, so everyone will recognize his Funko Pop! sitting on your shelf, or wherever you decided to put him.

Monsters Inc Boo VHS Cover Funko Pop!

Right In The Nostalgia

There’s an entire collection of Funko Pop! figures with VHS cover displays, and it took everything I had to just include this one Monsters Inc. one in this guide and not fill the entire list with them.

I was completely unaware Disney has created Funko Pop! figures with VHS cover displays until conducting research for this guide, and now I must have them all. It took everything I have not to include every single one I could find on this list as scrolling through them made me feel like I was a child again, running my finger along the spines of my Disney Classics, deciding which one to watch. Since Monster Inc. still holds a special place in my heart, Boo was the one who made the cut.

Hercules Funko Pop!

Bless My Soul, Herc Was On A Roll

Hercules is another Disney Classic I think deserves more love. Start that effort by picking up this Funko Pop!, if for no other reason than the Herc Pop! is holding an even smaller version of himself. A subset of figures Funko should make more of.

Another Disney movie that deserves more love, if for no other reason than its soundtrack and tie-inPS1game were both fantastic. It’s a shame game development has reached a point where that is no longer possible as the Disney games that accompanied movies throughout the 1990s were all pretty great. Anyway, if you don’t have access to Hercules on PS1, here’s hoping it comes toPS Plus Premiumsoon, the next best way to celebrate the movie is by buying this awesome Funko Pop!

Woody On The Luxo Ball Funko Pop!

All Aboard!

Woody might have been created by Pixar, but he has become one of the most iconic Disney characters in its history. Launching this September, this particular Pop! will connect to any of your other train Funko figures.

FourToy Storymovies later, Woody is now up there with Mickey Mouse, Simba, Cinderella, and Aladdin as one of the most instantly recognizable Disney characters of all time. Honestly, he might outrank everyone other than Mickey on that shortlist. Even the ball he is sitting on in this Pop! is well-known as the Pixar ball, featured in the studio’s lamp opening and making cameos in various movies. What makes this Woody Pop! better than the rest is the train carriage he is sitting on connects to all of the other train Pop! figures Funko has released. you’re able to have Woody sitting right alongside Darth Vader on your Funko train. There are no rules!

Mike Wazowski With Mitts Funko Pop!

Don’t Put That Thing Back Where It Came From

Mike Wazowski, prior to discovering humans aren’t toxic to monsters, as a Funko Pop! Geared up to protect himself from Boo, holding the can he uses to accidentally spray himself in his one big eye.

Yeah, you got me. I’m a big Monsters Inc. fan. That’s why the early 2000s Disney movie has made not one, but two appearances on this list. Apologies to anyone else reading this who loves Monsters Inc. as much as I do as I may well have inadvertently convinced you to spend a little more than you planned on Funko Pop! figures today. If it makes you feel any better, I discovered both of these Pops today too, so they’ll also be a part of my collection very soon.

Mickey In Steamboat Car Funko Pop!

Is That Steamboat Willie?

Hard to call any list of Disney products without a mention of Mickey Mouse a true Disney guide. This Pop! throws us all the way back to Disney’s beginnings, hence the mascot being in black and white.

This is a Disney list, so there needs to be at least one product modeled after the mouse that started it all. Hard to believe Mickey has been around longer than anyone reading this, although if I do have a reader older than 100, please get in touch, I would love to know. Anyway, part of the line of products celebrating Disney’s 100th anniversary, this Pop! is another train one which means you can hook it up to the Woody Pop! above. Again, I’m very sorry I keep giving you excuses to buy more than one figure at a time.

Dug Days Dug And Squirrel Funko Pop!

Squirrel!

Any Funko Pop! that comes with another smaller Pop! at no additional cost is always a win. It’s an even bigger win when the Pop! you’re getting is Dug, the adorable and hilarious dog from Up who isn’t introduced until after the movie shatters your heart into a thousand pieces.

Disney’s Up is largely remembered for its opening, one of the most heartbreaking sequences in cinema, full stop. What a lot of people forget is after that, it’s a fun, happy, downright terrific movie. It even has a spinoff focused on what Carl and Dug do after they get back home. Mostly Dug as the show is called Dug Days. That is technically where this Pop! comes from, so order it and watch the show on Disney Plus while you wait for it to be delivered.

FAQ

What Is The Most Expensive Disney Funko Pop?

There are a lot of rare and pricey Disney Funko Pop! figures out there, but the rarest, and the one that will likely cost you the most should you find one, is the glow-in-the-dark Buzz Lightyear.

How Do You Know Which Funko Pop! Figures Will Be Valuable?

Funko Pop! figures vary in rarity and value, so it can be hard to tell if you have one that is worth more than others. One sure-fire way to check if a Pop! is valuable is to look for a Limited Edition Chase sticker on the bottom right corner of its box if you still have it.

Do Funko Pop! Figures Lose Value If Opened?

Unlike many other collectibles, Funko Pop! figures don’t necessarily become less valuable when taken out of their boxes. That’s because they are relatively easy to remove from their boxes without damaging the packaging. You will need to keep both the box and the Pop! in good condition should you want the figures to retain their value, though.
