Throughout every entry in theKingdom Heartsseries, Sora and friends have explored a massive range of Disney worlds. This gives Kingdom Hearts a massive amount of variety and is part of what makes the story of this series so unpredictable. However, a common element in Kingdom Hearts is that worlds will be returned to in different games.

Almost every Kingdom Hearts game features a world that has been explored in a previous game, and some even get more than two visits. While there are some worlds and Disney franchises that Kingdom Hearts fans think have shown up enough (Hercules has more screen time than Mickey at this point), there are others that deserve another visit.
9Timeless River
A highlight of Kingdom Hearts 2 is when Sora, Goofy, and Donald are transported to Timeless River. This area is not treated likea traditional Disney world, being a lot shorter, and having less of an overarching narrative.
In spite of this, the 1930s style black and white style is timeless for a reason, and it fits Kingdom Hearts quite well. While this level is still one of the best moments in Kingdom Hearts 2, not revisiting this era of Disney and animation again feels like a waste.
There are so many more characters and scenarios in this era that would make another Disney World in this style a highlight for future Kingdom Hearts games as well!
8Disney Castle
While it is only a short part of Kingdom Hearts 2 and is partially overshadowed by Timeless River, the time Sora spends in Disney Castle is still memorable. This is an area that we do see in other Kingdom Hearts games, but only get to actually play through in Kingdom Hearts 2.
This is the home to some of the more iconic Disney characters, with Mickey and Minnie being two obvious examples. Getting to see the iconic mice in their element would add some depth to their characters, especially Mickey who occasionally feels out of place with how randomly he tends to appear throughout the rest of the series.
7Pride Lands
One of the Disney worlds that is often overlooked when looking back at Kingdom Hearts 2 is Pride Lands. This area is inspired by Lion King, and while this is one of the most beloved Disney movies, the Kingdom Hearts version feels a little rough around the edges on occasion.

Part of this is Sora being stuck in his lion cub form, limiting his move set, and the massive set pieces were also a little held back by the original PS2 release. Getting to see this world re-imagined in a newer Kingdom Hearts game would give this world the magic it was missing in its original appearance.
6Deep Space
Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep featured plenty of new and unique worlds, and one which gained a lot of attention was Deep Space, based on Lilo and Stitch. This world definitely focused more on the Stitch side of Lilo and Stitch, with Hawaii nowhere in sight, and the level set completely in the more sci-fi-focused intergalactic areas of Lilo and Stitch.
While this was fun and unique in Birth by Sleep, getting to see the more grounded and picturesque side of Lilo and Stitch would fill out the other half of the puzzle. Sora’s home is on Destiny Islands, so getting to see him on some different beaches and being able to explore a little more would be a fun change of pace for Kingdom Hearts.
5Disney Town
One of the more surreal worlds in Kingdom Hearts history is Disney Town from Birth by Sleep. This town is visited at a pivotal point in the narrative of Birth by Sleep and lends the narrative a bit of levity while the characters are feeling down.
The world functions as an explorable mini-game collection with Terra, Ventus, and Aqua all getting different games to try out. This concept is usually saved for the 100 Acre Woods in other Kingdom Hearts stories, so seeing the concept in another Disney world is a fun mix-up.
Whether this unique setting is used as another mini-game collection, or given some more space to explore, it definitely has further potential to explore.
4La Cite Des Cloches
Kingdom Hearts Dream Drop Distance gave Disney worlds to some of theless popular Disney franchises, and an example of this is La Cite Des Cloches, the setting of The Hunchback of Notre Dame. The city had an impressive scope for a game created for the 3DS and gave Sora and Riku some fun set pieces to search using the flowmotion mechanic.

The Cathedral especially had a massive sense of scale, and getting to see an area like this in a Kingdom Hearts game on more advanced technology would be impressive. While The Hunchback of Notre Dame may not be the most beloved Disney franchise, the potential of its Kingdom Hearts world could use some expansion.
3Symphony of Sorcery
A fan favourite world in Dream Drop Distance is the late-game offering, Symphony of Sorcery. This world is inspired by Fantasia, a world that was not on the wish list of many Kingdom Hearts fans, but ended up being impressive.
The abstract approach this world has with its level design keeps the world feeling refreshing, and the soundtrack that matches every movement is a joy to listen to. While this world was amazing in Dream Drop Distance on the 3DS and its HD remaster, it would look even better when designed for a newer console generation.
2Toy Box
One of the most creative worlds inKingdom Hearts 3was Toy Box, where Sora and his friends transform into miniatures and explore the world of Toy Story. This world was one of the most stunning in Kingdom Hearts 3, and the sense of scale you get from being tiny in what is essentially a human world was a unique feeling for Kingdom Hearts.
A common complaint for this world was that most of it took place inside a toy store. This did give the world plenty of variety, but it also left a lot of classic Toy Story locations untouched.
However, this is just another reason why this world would make a perfect choice for a revisit.
1Arendelle
While Frozen’s Arendelle was not the most beloved world in Kingdom Hearts 3, mainly due to the repetitive snowy visuals, it still had plenty of charm, and was a fun recreation of the iconic 2013 movie. Since Kingdom Hearts 3’s launch, Frozen has also received a sequel, and this just gives Sora a perfect excuse to return to the now-expanded world of Arendelle.
Frozen 2 provided a look at new locations in the Frozen universe, so getting to see Sora explore this would give Arendelle a lot more variety than the original visit.
