The Disney Channel’s lineup of shows consists of all sorts of imaginative IPs — they generally targeted younger audiences, but still came with their own fair share of adult-centric comedy segments that kept their properties fresh and accessible to the parents watching alongside their kids.

That partly contributed to these shows' longevity and overall appeal. Not to mention the set and sound design were constructed by a corporation worth billions of dollars, so nothing really lacked as far as the budgetary constraints were concerned. Most of these shows launched their main actors' careers to international acclaim and stardom.
10Shake It Up
Two teens finally get the attention they deserve for their skills as dancers endure being average teens while they maintain their careers. The stories were simple but the episodes themselves feature a bunch of chaotic events that conclude by the end.
Shake It Up put Zendaya on the map and launched her career to superstardom soon after. The show’s dance segments were fun to watch, and the characters played off each other pretty well. Disney took a chance with this show and it landed.
9Jonas
After the success of Camp Rock, the Jonas Brothers were a huge hit with the fans, and that ultimately led up to them getting their own show. Their misadventures and a glimpse into their lives constitute most of the show.
You get to see how the entire family interacts, how the Jonas brothers deal with life at school, and some unique jingles they come up with every episode that are unique to each scenario. The show was short-lived but fairly fun to watch.
8Sonny With A Chance
The idea was a girl named Sonny finally got her big break in Hollywood after she got selected to become a part of the show So Random! Sonny with a Chance featured a cast of colorful characters with their own unique quirks that helped her fit in and adjust to her new life.
The sets were high quality enough to actually make you feel like you were watching the characters interact in an actual studio. Not only that, the music was surprisingly fun to listen to as well. The series was a major hit and even got its own spinoff.
7Good Luck Charlie
Good Luck Charlie revolves around a family with a newborn kid who is new to the chaos that surrounds her relative’s lives. Charlie is absolutely adorable, and her siblings usually end each episode with a heart-warming video meant for her to watch later when she grows up.

The cast plays off each other fairly well, and the comedy’s good too. The show managed to get four seasons, and some of the highest reviews a show from the network can get for its exceptional execution of the slapstick and sitcom format.
6That’s So Raven
A clairvoyant teenager goes about her life despite seeing visions of the future. The show revolves around Raven Baxter trying to use her powers for good to stop the events of the future from transpiring and failing to do so for most of the episode.
It’s hilarious, heartfelt, and well-written, with an avid fanbase that supported its runtime to the point that it warranted a revival series called Raven’s House and a spin-off series revolving around her sibling in the White House called Cory in the House.
5Phil Of The Future
Perhaps one ofthe most underratedDisney live-action shows to ever hit the screens was Phil of the Future, a sitcom that revolved around a family of four from the 22nd century and their pet caveman adjusting to life in the past for educational purposes.
Unfortunately, their time machine gets busted and they’re stuck living in the past trying to keep their identities hidden in the meanwhile. The show only lasted for a couple of seasons despite how fun it was to watch.
4Lizzy Mcguire
This was the show that made Hilary Duff a household name due to its massive success with teenagers. It focused on the challenges of a high school girl growing up in a similar fashion to what the Diary of a Wimpy Kid aimed to achieve with an animated representation of Lizzie often narrating the events or the lessons learned at the end of each episode.
The show was applauded for its lighthearted comedy and writing that felt real and relatable to most Americans growing up during the ’90s.
3Hannah Montana
Living a double life is exceptionally hard, and no one knows that better than Miley the high school girl who’s a student by day and celebrity popstar Hannah Montana by night. It’s one of the most well-loved series Disney’s ever spawned and received severalawards for the musicfeatured during the episodes.

The cast was full of exceptionally talented actors that felt organic in their roles and the acting was fairly decent. The writing kept fans hooked with its tight comedic and emotional sequences.
2The Suite Life Of Zack And Cody
Zack and Cody are a pair of twins that collectively terrorize the Tipton Hotel since they live there with their musician mother. The show revolves around them making Mr. Moesby’s life hell in certain ways and trying to deal with different scenarios using their unique skill sets.
The show felt larger than life thanks to its setting — having a hotel be the main location for most of these chaotic events to transpire was a stroke of pure genius from the writing staff. It was one ofthe best showsthe network ever came up with.
1Wizards Of Waverly Place
With a killer theme song and a solid cast, Wizards of Waverly Place was a smash hit as soon as it came out and spawned a series that left an iconic legacy behind. It put Selena Gomez at the forefront of what can be considered a world out to get her in every way.
Juggling her identity as a witch and keeping her use of magic limited, she’d be stuck with navigating through a somewhat mundane life, if it weren’t for how chaotic things around her organically get off their own accord.
