InDiablo 4there are only a handful of different classes to choose from, and each one offers its own unique play style. The Druid can utilize both magic and melee class features, but if you don’thave the right build,or you aren’t utilizing all the features you may find that it’s a very difficult class to master.

Yes, your main focus may end up being on the build for a Druid, but the build isn’t everything when it comes to playing. Forgoing certain priority quests or forgetting to buff yourself with armor and gems can be detrimental to having a strong character who can progress past level 50 and into the paragon levels.
7Conquer Tur Dulra Quickly
At around level 15, you can finally access a priority quest that will guide you to conquering the Tur Dulra stronghold, and you really shouldn’t hold off on doing this. The stronghold’s level will just keep rising with your own to try and be a level or two above you, so it provides something of a challenge when you finally take it on.
So the Stronghold doesn’t end up being too much of a hassle, you should just head straight for Tur Dulra and bring down the enemy. Once that’s done, you can continue on with your priority quest to bring back the Spirit Lord, at which point you will finally be able to access the spirit animals.
Now you can spend your hard-earned Spirit Offerings (up to 100 for each animal), which will boost your skills exponentially. Using the spirit animal’s offerings and their companionship is a must if you want to have a viable Druid build.
6Use Armor That Complements Your Active Abilities
Often Legendary armor that drops will boost one of your druidic abilities or even give you access to some new ones by granting a few levels. Instead of just equipping it because it’s legendary and it seemsbetter, you should make sure that it will either work with what you have active or that you’re willing to switch over to a new ability.

Having the boost to your skills, whether it’s raising the effectiveness of defensive skills like Blood Howl or increasing the level of Wrath skills like Hurricane, is significantly better than trying to gain slightly more points in your armor. Remember that you’re able to alsopull off legendary aspectswith the Occultist in Kyovashad and move them to other pieces of gear; however, doing so will replace whatever legendary skill is currently on that item.
5Choosing Your Weapons With A Critical Eye
Two-handed weapons are, naturally, going to seem more powerful than a totem and a one-handed weapon on their own. In all fairness, two-handed hammers and axes pack much more of a punch on their own, but that plus and minus stat can be deceptive.
Rather than waiting for the moment a one-handed weapon or a totem has an attack higher than your current two-handed weapons, you should consider regularly equipping the one-handed gear and your totem just to see if it is actually better. Two-handed axes and hammers attack slower than one-handed weapons, and you might be missing out on some faster and higher-powered attacks by ignoring totems and one-handed weapons.
4Watch Your Spirit
No matter how long you’ve been playing a Druid, you’ve probably picked up that your Spirit is incredibly important to watch. If you start slashing or using Spirit-draining attacks, and you aren’t watching how fast it’s draining, you’ll find out pretty quickly that you’re just standing there, doing nothing.
If you’re in a party this isn’t the worst because at the very least your party members will hopefully be on top of their attacks and you probably won’t die. When you’re playing on your own though, you better hope that you either notice you’re not attacking or that you have some really good armor on because otherwise, you’ve got a pretty good chance of dying.
3Multiplayer Tank
If you’re playing in a party group, whether it’s in couch-play mode or you’re playing online and with others, you should consider equipping a build that works well with your party. If you’re playing with a sorcererit might be a good idea to be their tank.

Sorcerers are a bit of a glass cannon, but with something like a Werebear or the Werewolf, you’re able to take on more of a tank role. Just keep an eye on your health because, unlike the Barbarian, you are not fully intended to play as a tank full-time.
Skills like Blood Howl, however, can get you very with very little effort on your own part. Using Area of Effect (AoE) attacks like Hurricane, Cataclysm, or Lacerate are also a great way to deal with the increased groups of enemies you’ll face in multiplayer mode.
2Ultimates Are Always The Best
Don’t be afraid to use your ultimate skills, even outside of boss or Elite enemy fights! Some of the Druid Ultimates work great in large groups of enemies or even benefit from it, like the Werebear skill, Grizzly Rage. Grizzly Rage’s time can be extended by killing enemies, which means you can get far more use out of activating your ultimate if you don’t worry about saving it. '
Plus, like every other skill, it will be usable after enough time, especially if you equip items that will lower the refresh time on your abilities. You may only get one use out of your Ultimates with Elite enemies, but bosses will usually take longenough that you can use it at least twice, so don’t hold back!
1Aim To Raise Specific Stats
Be careful that you’re equipping items that raise the right stat because quipping items and even gems that raise stats you shouldn’t focus on are wasted potential. For a Druid, your primary focus should be the Willpower stat, which will buff your Overpower damage and your skill damage, which means you’re able to kill enemies even faster.
Whether you’re working in a group or by yourself, being able to tear through enemy groups is incredibly satisfying. The other stats you should have a secondary priority on raising is your Dexterity and your Intelligence, the former of which will increase your evasion and the latter of which will increase your spell damage.
Of course, if you aren’t overly focused on spells and would rather have a shifter build, then you may totally put everything into Dexterity and Willpower with very few consequences.
