There are a variety of houses that you can have, but it may be a bit overwhelming for newer players. There is a good chance that you’ve walked around the neighborhood only to see massive mansions towering over your humble abode. In this guide, we are going to go over all there is to know about housing in Adopt Me!
Starter House
Rather than buying your first house,it will be given to you for free.This house is quite tiny and only has the essentials inside. Outside, you will find a mailbox, as well as a sign that shows your current log-in streak. These outdoor objects appear in front of every house type.
You will still be able to buy furniture and decorate the inside of the house though. We suggestholding off on the decorations until you upgrade your house.This way, you can buy decorations that match your purchased home.
Editing Your House
You will be able toedit the interior and exterior of your house.Below, you can learn the specifics of these options.
Editing Outside
To edit the outside of your house, all you need to do isinteract with the mailbox;doing so will cause three options to appear. By clicking"Change House", you will see a new menu that lists all the houses you currently own, as well as an option toadd a new house.
Editing Inside
Once you head inside, you will see another three options on the top of your screen.“My Homes"will bring up the same menu as the “Change House” option from outside. To the left of this, you will see “Edit House”. By clicking on this, you will be able toplace furniture and wall decor in your house.
Overall, you can add “stuff”, change the floors, and replace the wallpaper. Furniture options are sorted by theme and type the menu at the bottom of the screen. You can decorate however you want, but keep in mind thatnearly all furniture will cost some money.
If you don’t want anyone to come inside while you are decorating, you canlock the door.
Selling Your House
If you decide to upgrade to a new house,you will be able to sell the old one.From the “Change House” (outside) or “My Homes” (inside) option, select the house that you want to sell. The sell button will be on the right-hand side of the menu.
You will earn a bit of money by selling your house, butyou can’t sell a house if it’s your only one.If you try to do so, a popup will appear telling you that you will have nowhere else to live.
Furniturecannot be transferred between houses.If you plan on selling, none of the furniture will be stored. As such, it’s best to completely sell everything inside your house before selling it.
Housing Options
Now, let’s go over every housing option that you’re able to have in Adopt Me!. Remember, you can scroll through all possible options by clicking “Add New” from “Change House” or “My Homes”. Thankfully,most houses in Adopt Me! don’t require you to spend Robux, just in the in-game currency.
