Quick Links
Just like in the game’s predecessor, a large chunk ofTears of the Kingdom’smain storyline has link traveling to the four corners of Hyrule and helping the various peoples there with specific, serious problems. Sometimes these are obvious, such as an eternal blizzard or sludge falling from the sky, but sometimes they are a little bit subtler.

Goron City is cursed by a mysterious mineral - marbled rock roast, which seems to curse those who consume it (Goron can eat rocks!) with eternal slothfulness. In addition to this, Yunobo himself has some pretty alarming personality changes that we have to deal with.
Reaching Goron City
Goron City, one of the four settlements you must visit to completeRegional Phenomena, is located just to thewest of Death Mountain, which is to the north of Hyrule Castle. The temperature here is very high, so you’ll need to procure some protective gear or cooling food items to survive.
Once you’ve reached Goron City, be sure to go activateMarakuguc Shrine, which is on the east side of town.

When you’re ready to begin the main quest here, head down to the center of town, where you’ll find a fewGorons arguing around a large pile of marbled rock roast, which looks somewhat like meat on the bone.
Talk to the Gorons here - you’ll learn that Yunobo’s personality has changed, and that he’s now the president of a mining corp calledYunoboCo.
Talk to Bludoafter the cutscene, and he’ll tell you where YunoboCo is located. Take the path to thenorth of town, near the shrine, and you’ll reach a minecart rail.
Use aFan attached to a minecartto ride the rail all the way over to the end of the line.
Enter the building ahead of you and be sure topurchase theFlamebreaker Armorinside. You will definitely need this to survive the burning heat of the coming challenges.
Head to the nearby quest marker andtalk to the two child Gorons here. They’ll let you into the cave behind them, where you’ll be thrust into a fight.
How To Beat Yunobo
Yunobo has only one way to attack you, and is immune from damage normally. He willroll into a ball and speed in place for a few moments, before launching himself at you.
To actually damage Yunobo, you’ll have tododge out of the way of his rolling attackat the last second and make himroll into a wall. This will stun him for a few seconds - this is the only time you’re able to attack him.
Hit him three times after he stuns himself, and the battle will be over.
Afterwards, Yunobo will join you for the rest of the quest and teach you how touse his rolling attack to destroy marbled rock.
Use this toget out of the cave.
How To Climb Death Mountain
From the cave, head back over the minecart railsyou took earlier. This will bring you back to Goron City. Here, use Ultrahand tobring the minecart you just rode in to the lower set of rails. You’ll use these to reach the base of Death Mountain.
There are two rails that travel alongside Death Mountain’s perimeter -place a cart on the rails closest to the mountainand get in. Now, you’ll have to gradually make your way up and around the mountain.
You’ll notice thatYunobo will automatically cue up a rolling attack when you’re riding a vehicle. You’ll have to use this tobreak the marbled rocksthat block your path as you climb the mountain.
You can also use this toattack the enemiesyou’ll encounter on the way.
Halfway up, you’ll be stopped in your tracks by a blockage.
Get out of the minecart here, defeat all of the surrounding enemies, remove the blockade, and carry out.
When you reach the top, be sure toactivate the shrineunderneath the platform you arrive at.

Climb the steps up to the peak of Death Mountain, and you’ll start a cutscene, in which you’re introduced to quite a hefty threat.
How To Defeat Moragia
There is no way to combatMoragiaconventionally - trying to climb it will damage you, even with Flame Guard armor, and arrows will do nothing.
To actually complete this fight, you’ll need tolocate the nearby flying machine- it will be tipped over at first. Use Ultrahand to get it ready for launch and then start flying it. You’ll basically have touse Yunobo like a rocket launcher as you fly around Moragia’s heads, destroying them one by one.
Don’t worry too much about the rocks that Moragia spits out - they don’t deal much damage.
After destroying Moragia’s heads, you’ll revealDeath Mountain Chasm, which leads to the depths and the next part of this quest.
Exploring The Depths Under Death Mountain
After diving down the chasm and landing safely, go activate the nearbyMustis Lightrootto light up your surroundings.
Head further into the depths. You’ll find somevehiclesaround here - while you don’t need to use vehicles to traverse this area, they do makeusing Yunobo as a weaponfar easier.
Your aim here is to keep movingwestward, climbingthe hills as you go, destroying marbled rock blockages with Yunobo’s rolling attack.
You’ll come across multiple packs of enemies as you travel towards your goal. Defeating them is a good way to get someZonaite, along with destroying the rocks near them, but be careful.
Getting hit by enemies in the depths willreduce your maximum healthuntil you either reach a Lightroot, head back to the surface, or eat food made withSundelions.
Eventually, you’ll get close enough to your goal to see it properly - theFire Temple. An easy way to get over the lava surrounding it is by using a nearby minecart and riding the rails over.
The rough coordinates of this minecart rail are1776, 2625, -0843. You’ll have to fire Yunobo through some marbled rocks while using this minecart, and be wary of some Horriblins on the way.
Once you’ve reached the Fire Temple, climb the rampto be introduced to the next stage of Yunobo’s quest.
