Let Me Solo Heris a bona fideElden Ringcelebrity, skyrocketing to fame after helping slayover 1,000 Maleniasfor those lucky few Tarnished.Bandai Namco sent him a gift, fan art dedicated to him flooded the community, and he evenbeat a Malenia-only run. But players want the DLC to take things a step further by introducing Let Me Solo Her as an NPC.

“They need to add Let me solo her as a summon or a boss fight in the upcoming dlc,” Fast-Composer-6900 said in the Elden Ring subreddit. The post already has 3,200 upvotes as of writing, shooting it to the top of the forum. Clearly, a lot of the fanbase agrees, but FromSoftware doesn’t do this sort of thing often. LMSH is well-known, but so wasGiantDad, aDark Soulsfandom-made character. They were never made canon.

But maybe LMSH will be different, and if he is, it could happen in a couple of ways. As Fast-Composer-6900 suggests, they could be an NPC summon. These don’t need voice acting or any personality, they can simply help with a boss fight and have that be their only appearance. Whether they’d literally be called ‘Let Me Solo Her’ or something more immersive and lore-friendly is another question. The other option is a boss fight, which is unlikely and might be taking the meme too far. There’s such a thing astoometa.

3,200 upvotes point to a huge chunk of the online community agreeing with the sentiment, but the comments are more divided. Some flat-out don’t like the idea of community-created icons becoming in-game icons, while others have different suggestions, like Let Me Solo Her appearing as an invader. This would be similar to a boss fight, only on a smaller scale. Like summons, they could appear in-game without breaking the immersion too much and not need any voice acting or lore tied to their appearance, making it a neat little reference and nothing more.

Some comments label this “cringe”, simply say “no” and “nah”, while others are asking “why”. Regardless, it wouldn’t be a first. Many shared similar sentiments about GiantDad, asking FromSoft to bring them to the DLC or even Dark Souls 2, and it didn’t happen. However, there’sa reference to streamer LobosJr in Elden Ring, who is known for his challenge runs.

He calls his audience the wolfpack, and in Elden Ring, we find a wolf named Lobo. It’s a fun but subtle nod to a well-known Soulsborne community member, and while a summon, boss, or invader might be taking it too far, maybe we’ll see something similar for Let Me Solo Her in the DLC.
