What would aFinal Fantasygame be without a vast array of tough monsters to find and beat? Well, probably not a Final Fantasy game. Thankfully,Final Fantasy 16isone and has a side quest spanning most of the game that involves Clive traveling all over Valisthea to take down 32 incredibly tough monsters.

These monsters and the associated Hunt Board are unlocked as soon as you return to the base for the first time after the Point of No Return, which occurs about a third-way through the game. From then on, new marks will unlock as you finish story beats and complete quests.

All Notorious Mark Hunt Locations
The table below details every mark in the game, as well as their locations. In addition, we list the rewards you’ll get for beating them.
Some of these marks will become available to face simply byprogressing the story. Other marks, however, are either part ofside questsor require the completion of prior side quests before they can be challenged.
If a mark isn’t showing up, eitherprogress the story or clear up your available side quests. Conversely, you may need to beat certain marks before other side quests become available.

Belphegor
Rosaria: The hidden area to the south of The Broken Hilt.
Flan Prince
Muddy Murder
Rosaria: In the north section of Hawk’s Cry Cliff, technically within Auldhyl, and to the east.
Fastitocalon
A Hill to Die On
Dhalmekia: To the northeast of The Velkroy Desert, near The Bandit’s Bed.
Soul Stingers
Dhalmekia: In The Fields of Corava, near the Empty Hovel to the east.
Grimalkin
Dhalmekia: In the small area south of The Sickle known as The Cattery.
Atlas
The Breaker of Worlds
Rosaria: In the hidden area behind the village of Cressida, to the east of Rhiannon’s Ride.
Bomb King
Sanbreque: Within The Crock, which is an offshoot of The Chase, which is itself a secret area to the southeast of The Dragon’s Aery.
The Ten of Clubs
Dhalmekia: Within the abandoned village of Vamare in The Fields of Corava.
The Mageth Brothers
Rosaria: On the beach in Quietsands, in the south of the area.
Svarog
Sanbreque: At the end of the path through Mornebrume, which is to the east of the Glorieuse Gate.
Dread Comet
Dhalmekia: In the small area between two large rocky hills, just to the southeast of The Sickle.
Carrot
Rosaria:In The Whispering Waters, just to the west of the entrance at Three Reeds.
Pandemonium
Waloed: To the west of the ruined village at the very south of the map, Wolfdarr.
Gorgimera
The Tricephalic Terror
Dhalmekia: In the center to the west of the Velkroy Desert, to the south of the ravine splitting the desert in half.
Gobermouch
Waloed: In Eistla, up the ladder opposite the way from the Obelisk.
Agni
Waloed: In the first large area along the path from The Edge of Infinity Obelisk.
Thanatos
Dhalmekia: Right on the word ‘Titan’s Wake’ on the map when zoomed in all the way.
Terminus
Prince of Death
Sanbreque: Just to the north of Westwatch tower, in the area to the north of Northreach.
Knight of the Splendent Heart
Sanbreque: Right at the north of the map, at the gate near the Royal Meadows Obelisk.
After completing every hunt in the game, you will receive anachievement.
