Summary
Remnant: From the Ashestook the Soulslike genre by surprise with its enemies, lore, and third-person shooter mechanics. Now,Remnant 2brings more new characters and bosses to its worlds with a voice cast more stacked than ever, even minor side characters and bosses having names like Ray Chase, Dave Fennoy, Adam Croasdell, and Courtenay Taylor among them.

Most of the main cast includes all the merchants you’ll be buying and selling with located in the world hub of Ward 13, all returning from the original game. And then there’s your main character, an extensive list of its own with lots of talent all around.
10Rigler - David Lodge
Though not a main character per se, Rigler, who prefers going by his nickname Rigs, is one of the first NPCs from Ward 13 to introduce himself and help your injured companion Cass. And he’s still here for weapon upgrades and is still voiced by veteran voice actor David Lodge.
With Lodge’s credits totaling almost 400 dating back to the early 2000s, his most prominent voice roles in games include Rocky Balboa in the VR game Creed: Rise to Glory, the boss Astaroth inDiablo 4, Kabal inMortal Kombat2011, and main antagonist Dereck Simmons inResident Evil 6. In television media, he’s the voice of the villain Loki in Power Rangers Lightspeed Rescue and Jiraiya inNaruto.
9Brabus - Jason Anthony
Having the best weapon going up against the Root is always ideal in Remnant 2, and Brabus is your go-to for weapon needs. He was actually a boss you could fight in the first game, but here he’s now a friendly NPC of Ward 13. And in both games, voiced by Jason Anthony.
Jason is probably most well-known for lending his voice to theCall of DutyOperator Otter, debuting in 2019’sModern Warfare, and being the Sorting Hat and one of the main antagonists, Victor Rookwood, from Hogwarts Legacy. But he’s also the High Elf leader Teclis inTotal War: Warhammer 3and rookie Julius Nex in the Hero Factory TV show.
8Bo Ward - Christian Lanz
Bo is someone you meet very early in the story here, with him and his companion Clementine helping you fight your way to Ward 13, of which he’s still in charge of security. And returning to voice him is Christian Lanz, who also did one of the player voices in the original Remnant.
While he voicedLeon S. Kennedy in Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City, Gustavo Orta inCyberpunk 2077, and has had various voice roles across Call of Duty titles, most notably Sergeant Augustine Perez in WWII, he’s more known for animation TV roles. In Nickelodeon’sTMNTseries, Lanz played Fishface. He’s also Chancellor Esteban in Disney Channel’s Elena of Avalor.
And although Antonio Banderas covers the voice in the Shrek films and standalone movies, Christian Lanz the voice of the character Puss in Boots in series like Puss in Boots Shorts and Epic Cat Battles with Puss in Boots.
7Ava McCabe - Erica Lindbeck
While Brabus is your arms dealer, you’ll find Ava McCabe can help you out with some mods for your weapons around Ward 13,which are more important than you think. And her character is once more portrayed by Erica Lindbeck, a veteran voice actress who has probably brought to life some of your favorite characters in games and shows.

In the Marvel realm, she’s Black Cat inInsomniac’s Spider-Manand the voice of Captain Marvel in many animated projects and games, including the turn-based strategy gameMidnight Suns. You might also know her as the playable character Kate O’Hara in Desperados 3 or Tyler’s sister Alyson Ronan inTell Me Why. And she’s been in a previous merchant role inCode Veinas Coco.
6Wallace - Stephen Oyoung
All grown up in Remnant 2 and no longer a kid is Wallace, who you can talk to once you reach Ward 13 to select your class andbe able to respec your character later. Interestingly enough, the younger version of Wallace in the first game was Yuri Lowenthal, but now the adult version is voiced by Stephen Oyoung, Lowenthal’s nemesis Martin Li (Mister Negative) in Spider-Man.
But Stephen Oyoung has been in another superhero game from DC, where he played the protagonist Jason Todd, or Red Hood, inGotham Knights. He’s also the deuteragonist KK inGhostwire: Tokyoand the boss Gold Joe fromNo More Heroes 3. Outside of games, you might’ve seen him appear in episodes of The Last Ship, The Book of Boba Fett, Good Trouble, and For All Mankind.
5Cass - Bryce Charles
Cass is a new character introduced in the sequel accompanying you to Ward 13 in the opening section of the game and is later set up as a merchant in the location. She’s a character you’ll connect with right away and is excellently portrayed by actress Bryce Charles, who you may not be quite as familiar with.
Bryce guest starred in popular sitcoms like Black-ish and Fuller House and was in the Netflix shows Atypical and Tales of the City. On top of her voice work as Cass in Remnant 2, she was a player voice option in the 2022Saints Rowreboot and the voice of Dee Dee Holloway in Nickelodeon and Paramount’s Big Nate series.
4Andrew Ford, Labyrinth Keeper, Mudtooth - Darin De Paul
Ward 13 founder Andrew Ford, the Labyrinth Keeper, and another friendly merchant NPC named Mudtooth are all reprised by Darin De Paul. That voice he brings to the robot character Samuel Hayden inDoomshould be instantly recognizable in his role as the Keeper. But his versatility is widespread across many games, including some Marvel roles.
He’s the voice of J. Jonah Jameson in Insomniac’s Spider-Man games, Ghost Rider in Marvel’s Midnight Suns, and Hulk in Square Enix’sMarvel’s Avengersgame. Outside of Marvel, he’s also Truman Zanotto inPsychonauts 2and the voice of characters for multiplayer FPS games like Revenant inApex Legendsand Reinhardt from theOverwatchseries.
3Clementine - Judy Alice Lee
Rescuing you from the Root in the beginning and then spending most of her time inside the Labyrinth with the Keeper in Remnant 2 is Clementine, formerly Subject 2923. She’s reprised by Judy Alice Lee, most recently in Diablo 4 as party member Neyrelle, and she’s the voice of the fictionalWWE 2K22 and 23wrestler Meilee “Fanny” Fan.

She’s also the voice actress for Yun Jin fromGenshin Impact, multiple Call of Duty Operators across the series like Kwan Song inBlack Ops Cold War, Operator Kim Tae Young in Vanguard, and Seraph inBlack Ops 4andWarzone, and now Nimbus in Capcom’s multiplayer shooter gameExoprimal. She’ll also be in the sequel toHadesas Melinoë.
2Player (Male Voices) - Kane Jungbluth-Murry, Scott Whyte, Andrew Morgado, Greg Chun, Antony Del Rio, And Noshir Dalal
Usually, you’d see one voice for the protagonist, but not in this game. Remnant 2’sdetailed character creationallows you to choose from six different kinds of voices for male and female characters, with some big names among them. And these are in no particular order from the in-game selection.
First, there’sKane Jungbluth-Murry. His most notable roles include Black Manta and Black Lightning inInjustice 2, Bronze Tiger in Lego DC Supervillains, Ibrahim Savane inAliens: Fireteam Elite, and Dominic Fulltank inMaster Detective Archives: Rain Code. He’s also provided additional voices in 2022’s Saints Row,The Last of Us Part 2, andResident Evil Village.
Next to Kane isScott Whyte, who was Rathma in Diablo 4, Captain Qwark inRatchet and Clank: Rift Apart, and the voice of Crash Bandicoot inCrash Bandicoot 4: It’s About TimeandCrash Team Rumble. He’s also been in a few episodes of Netflix’s Love, Death + Robots, and he has a bunch of additional voice roles in games likeHorizon Forbidden West,Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, and the Spider-Man games.
Andrew Morgadois also an alum of Diablo 4 as the voice of the Male Druid player class, along with some creature sounds. He was also in minor roles in the first Remnant but is now a player voice. And if you like adult animation, he was in FX’s Archer and Max’s Velma. On top of voice acting, Morgado is also a sound mixer with over 200 credits, which include projects like Mr. Robot, Orange Is the New Black, and It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia.
One of your voices can even beGreg Chun, the English voice actor for the lead character Seong Gi-Hun in Netflix’s Squid Game and Song Jae-ik in Netfix’s zombie show All of Us Are Dead. And in addition to all his various anime credits, Greg is also the voice of the detective protagonist Takayuki Yagami in theJudgementseries and a returning player voice from Remnant: From The Ashes.
Antony Del Riois someone you may also recognize from Injustice 2 as Blue Beetle, but he’s been in quite a few other big games. You might know him as Pit from Kid Icarus: Uprising or Chico from theMetal Gear Solidseries. He’s even voiced Young Kratos inGod of War: Ascension and Ghost of Sparta.
Lastly, your character can be voiced by Bode Akuna fromStar Wars Jedi: Survivorhimself –Noshir Dalal. But Star Wars isn’t the only huge series he was a part of, as his credits also include Charles Smith fromRed Dead Redemption 2and Kotallo from Horizon Forbidden West. He also gave someLGBTQ+ representation in Star Wars: Squadronsas Imperial pilot Varko Grey.
1Player (Female Voices) - Anne Yatco, Mela Lee, Mara Junot, Krizia Bajos, And Cissy Jones
Though there are also six female voice actors for the player character, only five appear to have confirmed actors. This is quite a talented group as well, which you’ll undoubtedly recognize from many games you’ve probably played before.
Anne Yatcohas been in plenty of animated and live-action television shows like Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug And Cat Noir, Rainbow High, Juvenile Justice, and Jujutsu Kaisen. She’s also on a sci-fi podcast called Solar, and her noteworthy roles in games include Mari from Ghostwire: Tokyo, Rosie Wong inWasteland 3, Mia inFire Emblem Heroes, and various voices in Genshin Impact.
Also coming from Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug And Cat Noir as the voice of Tikki, Froggy, and Risk and Rainbow High as Georgia Bloom isMela Lee. In the gaming world, however, you may recognize her best as the female fighter Jade from Mortal Kombat 11 and the voice of Lifeline from Apex Legends. And she’s a female voice option in Code Vein.
Some ofMara Junot’s earliest voice-acting credits include Alleria Windrunner fromWorld of Warcraftand Christa fromTelltale’s The Walking Dead. She’s also lent her voice to characters across major games like The Outer Worlds, Mortal Kombat 11 as Sindel, Midnight Sun’s Ororo Munroe, aka Storm, and Mist from the Valkyrie duo inGod of War Ragnarok. And she’s also a returning player voice from the original Remnant.
Krizia Bajosis back-to-back with the voice acting roles, as she alsoprovides the voice of the Majesty in Exoprimaland the protagonist Jara Rydek in the branching narrative Star Trek: Resurgence video game. In Cyberpunk 2077, she was the gang leader called Sasquatch, and she’s the voice actress for Officer Renee Montoya in DC video games like Gotham Knights and Telltale’s Batman. You may have also caught her standout role in Barry, playing Cristobal’s ruthless wife – Elena.
Closing out the female player character’s voice is none other thanCissy Jones, who’s been in tons of amazing narrative-driven games. Perhaps you know her as Sarah Sheppard fromDead Island 2, Shel or Katjaa from Telltale’s The Walking Dead, or Chloe’s mom Joyce fromLife is Strange, or even better yet, your radio contact Delilah inFirewatch.
