Pikmin 4, like every game inthe series, comes with its own selection of technically oversized items to discover and collect. That’s a major plot point of the game, even. To explore further, you need to collect the valuable Sparklium out of these strange objects to fix up and expand your main ship’s fuel and functionality.

You’ll find plenty of treasure naturally as you play. But there are more than you might think. There’s a surprisingly large number of treasures hiding throughout the game, and no place showcases this better than the Sun-Speckled Terrace, the first proper landing site you encounter on PNF-404. We’ve put together a reference of every treasure in this site, organized by overworld and cave system.

Having progressed further, we aquired White Pikmin, which can help find completely underground treasure. We’ve updated this guide with new details about these particular items.
Sun-Speckled Terrace Surface Treasure Locations
The overworld section has, by far, the most treasure available. Not all of it is accessable immedaitely, though. Much of the West side of the maprequires alternate pathways or broken barriers.If an item has special requirements, they’re detailed accordingly.
Name And Requirements
Orb of Destruction
South-west of the starting zone. Requires Oatchi’s jump ability to get close to
Along the East most wall. Requires Yellow Pikmin to reach
Sunseed Berry
On the central Eastern side of the map. Requires Oatchi’s jump ability to get close to
Lesser Mock Bottom
On the North side, before the Stopwatch and Bulborb. Break the pots with Oatchi
Temporal Mechanism
On the North side, guarded by a sleeping Bulborb Requires Oatchi ram ability to knock down
Double Dragon-Eyed Scope
Access by unlocking a path to the North, just after the Stopwatch and Bulborb, where you lower a bridge
On the West side, Requires Yellow Pikmin to reach
Perforated Raft (x2)
Found to the left of the Dandori Day Care trial entrance, break pots to uncover.
Mysterious Carriage
On the far left of the map. It’s heavy, and the nearby bridge to access can only be pulled down by Yellow Pikmin
Talisman of Life (Moon)
In the Northwest side of the map. Drops from a Quillion
Fire-Breathing Feast
Is accessed from just past the Quillion area, dropping down and going West
Snack Bean
Only accessable from above, past the Quillion area. Drop down and go East.
Child of the Earth
Found on the Northern most side of the map, just after crossing the bridge you build near the binoculars. It’s completely buried and needs dug up. If you may’t seem to get them to dig, return with White Pikmin and try again.
Last Frost Cavern Treasure Locations
The first cave you’ll be able to interact with. It’s fairly straightforward, with few complications.Don’t forget to collect the Flarlicwhile you’re in there.

Hectic Hollows Treasure Locations
This cave is found near where the baseball treasure is. It has water pools and large jelly, soa few of the treasures require Ice Pikmin to reach. You’ll also find a castaway while you’re here.
Mama Doll Head
West side of map. Freeze the surrounding water with Ice Pikmin
Empty Vase
Hiding inside a large jelly on the Southeast side of the map. Freeze and break with Ice Pikmin
Aspiration-Ritual Pole
Jump onto the nearby can with Oatchi, throw Pikmin onto it until it falls
Industrial Maze Treasure Locations
This cave, found near the Strawberry, is intended as the introduction to Yellow Pikmin (though they can be found elsewhere). The puzzles and a few of the treasures found inside require their high-throw ability to be reclaimed.Be sure to bring (or keep a hold of) Yellow Pikmin.There’s another castaway to rescue too.
Memory Fragment (Top Right)
On the West side of the map. Break the pots with Oatchi, then use the button to alternate the conveyor belts in a way that allows your Pikmin to carry it back to the ship
Personal Injury Plank
To the North, near the exit. Requires Yellow Pikmin to reach, then use the button to alternate the conveyor belts in a way that allows your Pikmin to carry it back to the ship
Stately Rubber Cutie
To the right just after the beginning. Break the large pots it’s hiding in with Oatchi
Detective’s Truth Seeker
To the West from the beginning. Go the long way around to make a clear path to your ship. It’s faster to relocate the ship to the Northern site first.
Unlimited Locamotive
On the Northwest side of the map. Needs dug up. Might as well relocate your ship to the site next to it first.
Aquiferous Summit Treasure Locations
The furthest away, this one is found on the far Northeast corner of the map, granting access to an upper level of the overworld upon completion. Be sure tobring Red and Ice Pikmin with you.
Talisman of Life (Crane)
Across the water (freeze with Ice Pikmin) and hiding inside a jelly (freeze and break with Ice Pikmin)
Skin of the Phoenix
West side of map. Throw Pikmin onto it until it falls
North side of map, right before exit area.
Crackling Cauldron Treasure Locations
As the name implies, there are plenty of hot and dangerous encounters here. There are also some elevated sections holding treasure, sobring Red and Yellow Pikmin.
Dusty Bed
Past the electric wall and to the left, just before the exit.Throw Pikmin on it until it falls
South room. No special instructions
North room. Throw Yellow Pikmin to reach
Daughter of the Earth
East room. Cool the surrounding lava with Red Pikmin first, then dig up.
That should total out to 31 treasures in this area. This will also complete the adventure category of treasures. Assuming you collected all of the treasures before the first zone, you should now haveover 3,000 Sparkliumat the ship.
