Eight Sims in a household and only one bathroom? Things are sure to get hectic pretty quickly. But why does the bathroom look spotless? Aside from needing to scrub the counters, there is not much in The Sims 4 to visually show that your Sims are really living in their household.

That is where clutter comes in, and by placing a box of cereal on the kitchen table, suddenly your Sim’s house will start feeling a little more realistic. The Bathroom Clutter kit is dedicated to providing some small items to crowd your bathroom counters to make it feel like your Sims are truly living there.

6Decor

There is nothing more exciting than a themed bathroom, right? Included in this kit are some aquatic wall decals that are perfect for creating an adorable bathroom for your Sim kids. And they can be a multi-functional item, as well, good for creating a themed nursery foryour new infant!

There are also two lighting options included: a simple, modern-looking candle and a new wall sconce. Best of all are the two new rugs, both sharing the same swatch palette.

One is a small bathmat you can place in front of your sink or shower, and the other is cut out to fit perfectly in front of the toilet.

5Towels

While there have been towel objects included in the base game and even in a few packs, the three towel items included stand out among the others. The first is the most similar to the base game towel stack, being that it is a few towels piled on top of each other.

But the small details of having them in an imperfect pile and making them different colors let them stand out. The other two towel items follow a unique pairing found in a few other items in the kit.

One item is simply two towels laying nice and neat on a rack, and the other is the same towels on the same rack messily thrown on. The two options allow any type of player to utilize either variant of the item, and they open up a lot of ideas for storytelling within the game.

4Dental Hygiene

While you may not always remember to have your Sim brush their teeth, maybe these items will serve as helpful reminders. Similar to the towel rack item, there are two toothpaste containers: one that’s fresh and full, and another that is a little more used.

There’s also a new toothbrush holder item, as well as a brand-new electric toothbrush for your more technologically inclined Sims.

One of the best objects included in the kit is, of course, the dentures. Suspended in a glass to soak overnight, it is a great item to represent the often-overlooked elder Sims.

If you havea legacy household, or even if you just like the item, it is a great addition to any bathroom.

3Products

Not every Sim can just roll out of bed and look their best in seconds. Well, technically they all can, but you may add in some clutter objects to make it look like they didn’t.

There are hair care options, like combs, a hair dryer, and products. There is even an electric razor, which fits in perfectly with thehair growth update.

There is a shower caddy full of products that can hang on the wall, perfect for a custom-built shower (or a regular one, as long as you usea few cheats), and a tray full of bath products like bath salts and lotion. The bath salts from the tray are available as a separate item, too!

2Toilet Paper

Only Simmers would get excited when hearing there is new toilet paper–but there is new toilet paper! There is one attached to the wall, similar to the one featured in the base game. This also handle includes a more standard stainless steel swatch in addition to gold and silver, as well.

There is also a loose roll that you may place anywhere your heart desires: on the counter, next to the toilet, or in a custom storage closet. While the roll isn’t made as a stackable item, you can always use thebb.moveobjects oncommand to create a TP tower for your Sim.

1Light Switches

One of the most exciting features introduced in an update to the game was actually first put into this kit: light switches. They are not just decorative objects but are fully functional to allow your Sim’s control over all the lights in the room.

While they already had this by just being able to click the lights themselves, the light switches add an element of realism that is attractive to a lot of Simmers.

There are two switches in the kit: a rocker-style switch, and a more modern looking one with a button. The classic flip light switch is available in the base game for all players.
