2Customize Your Ceilings
One of the most anticipated parts of the free July update in The Sims 4 is ceiling customization. For so long, we’ve only been able to add wallpaper, paint, and other patterns to the floors and walls of our homes.
No longer do you need to play with the in-game walls lowered because you hate how the ceiling looks compared to the other patterns in your building.
Now, the update adds ceiling customization to the fold. You’ll find both Floors and Ceilings as options in the flooring section of Build Mode.
Toggle to Ceilings and you’re able to now pattern the ceiling, individual tiles, or by room, with all existing applications.
1Free Cam In Build Mode
In the patch notes for the free July update, it briefly mentions Free Camera is available now in Build Mode. That brief mention does not represent the level of hype this has brought to all of you Sims lovers out there.
Originally, Free Camera was only available after youbuilt an awesome home, exited Build Mode, and moved in with a family. You don’t have to go through all of those steps any longer.
Right in Build Mode, you can enter Free Camera by pressing Tab and take screenshots of the incredible design you just finished.
