Exoprimal has announced that it will have a new mode thanks to feedback from the previous test in which you’ll race against the time when completing missions instead of PvP, for those of you who don’t fancy fighting other players.A second open beta test will be hosted on June 16 to June 18 ahead of its July 14 release. At the Capcom showcase, we got a further look at the world of Exoprimal, which you can tackle via missions with up to nine friends. Essentially, time travel has a side effect that has caused dinosaurs to bleed into the future - or I guess present, depending on your perspective - and we have to stop them from stomping all over society. Big dinosaurs bringing civilisation to ruin, nothing new, eh?RELATED:Game Presentations Aren’t As Exciting Anymore Because You’re OldTLDR: there’s a dino crisis happening, but notthatDino Crisis. The original DC planner is working on Exoprimal, though. But no, this game is co-op, has a robot lady that plenty of gamers are already thirsting over, and features time travel shenanigans. There’s also a red-headed woman who looks a lot like Regina, but that’s probably just a coincidence, right? And if you missed the first open beta, or are just itching for more, the second one kicks off later this week, so there’s not long of a wait until you can try it out for yourself. Otherwise, it’s a month out from launch. While there was plenty of new information on Exporimal’s story, gameplay, and world in Capcom’s Summer Game Fest showcase, it will have more to unveil in tomorrow at Xbox Games Showcase Extended. In particular, there will be “More info about exosuit variants and Savage Gauntlet”.We also got to see some of the Neosaur mode from the first alpha of Exporimal, which is essentially a co-op raid boss. Hopefully, we’ll get to try it for ourselves in the beta, as it promises to show more than the first.

Exproimal is also coming toXbox Game Pass on the same day. However, it’s not an Xbox exclusive, as you can also pick it up on PS4, PS5, and Steam. In ourclosed technical test preview, Lead News Editor George Foster said, “It’s got almost all of the right ingredients, but its focus on PvEvP seems like a missed opportunity. It’s still good fun and should surprise people who would rather it was Dino Crisis, but it could be so much more if it refocused.“It also made his “jaw drop”.
