After 30 years of mind-blowing success, FIFA announced it would be parting ways with EA, bringing an end to the FIFA game franchise.FIFA 23was the last production together with EA announcing it would be producing future games under theEA Sports FCname.

With more freedom at their reach, I expect EA to produce more entertaining and challenging games with the inclusion of more leagues. The FIFA 23 came with its share of hits and misses, and it is no doubt I’d want, and you’d want to see some changes in the EA Sports FC game.

10Improve the Career Mode

FIFA’s Career Mode has been one of the best features in the EA Sports series for the last decade. From controlling a single player to a team, Career Mode allows you to add a spice of personality to the game.

Unfortunately, in FIFA 23, it seems broken. And EA Sports FC should do better.

The Mode feels stale while playing, no new experience, just the mundane things you’d do in FIFA 19. They should at least add some flair such as reducing wages when a team gets relegated.

9Introduce an Online Career Mode

Imagine negotiating player transfers with your friends or having a league of your own between several gamers. This is what most FIFA enthusiasts yearn for, and playing the game in an online setting could bolster the fun and competitive factor.

While the Career Mode has been quite entertaining, the advent of playing games online has seen most players frown upon the lack of it in FIFA 23. An online career mode would no doubt revolutionize the game.

8Include Women’s League

Let’s face it, women’s football is gradually gaining pace around the world. And this should be reflected in football games.

While FIFA 23 has women’s football aspects in it such as player careers, it would do you and me a whole good if there’d be a league dedicated to women’s football teams.

I hope EA Sports FC will include female players in the Ultimate Team. Featuring women’s teams can be a gamer changer and can see more female gamers embrace the game.

ultimate team

7Revamp Ultimate Team

Ultimate Team has been the most popular mode in EA’s history, and its introduction to FIFA 09 brought a sense of competition and satisfaction. Grinding your way to getting world-class football players is quite satisfying in FIFA games preceding FIFA 23.

However, in the past few releases, the competitive aspect has gradually reduced to a point where you’re able to get the Benzemas and Halaands with minimal input. EA needs to make it more challenging in EA Sports FC, otherwise, gameplay will continue to feel stale.

celebration

6Add More Celebration

There’s no denying EA has worked on how your players celebrate with their fans. Your players can slide or run toward the fans, high-five, and hug each other.

However, they can only do so near the goal side. And the celebration is only limited to a few fans, the rest are acting like nothing’s happened.

Make EA Sports FC accessible

EA should make celebrations more electrifying. For example, have more fans come closer to the player.

Or maybe fans taking selfies with players after winning the league. This could make EA Sports FC more appealing.

objectives

5Make the Game More Accessible

Budget can be a hiccup for most inspiring gamers. And to access FIFA 23, you need to shell out money.

This can make you shy away from gaming since not many people budget to buy games. If EA can take the free-to-play route such as League of Legends did, then the barrier to entry would reduce and more people would enjoy the game.

glitch

Besides, as you’d guess, EA does bring home the bacon through the Ultimate Team. If that’s not feasible, they can reduce EA Sports FC’s price.

4Objectives Claiming

Objectives are crucial in unlocking challenges and getting rewards in the Ultimate Team. However, EA has made it difficult for you to accomplish as many as you can by limiting their access.

That is, you have to claim each Objective every time you open your game.

team play

This is not only annoying but also time-consuming. It even defeats the logic of having so many objectives to complete.

Besides, it’s hard to tell if you’ve completed specific objectives. EA should add a “Collect All Objectives” button to make the process more satisfying.

3Glitch Control

The FIFA 23 was full of glitches and comic issues. For example, an online multiplayer match can become unbearable to play.

From weird camera angles to latency issues, it soon becomes a frustrating experience.

The same case applies to the game’s physics. Your players can do comic yet random acts such as a player going through a player.

EA should fix these bugs or at least keep them to a minimum in the EA Sports FC game.

2Spice Up Matches

Another improvement EA can make is to make rivalry matches more electrifying. For example, they can include manager interviews before derby games and make the matches more physical.

Another stellar feature they can include is cutscenes of your players using items you’ve bought in your Career Mode.

It wouldn’t hurt to include more awards such as Asian Best Player or the Balon d’Or. EA can then include cutscenes of your players accepting the awards.

This can significantly bolster the feel and play of the game.

1Game Presentation

EA Sports FC’s presentation should take a new approach. So much on-the-pitch action makes FIFA trailers stale.

EA should introduce more off-the-pitch scenes. Maybe cover some controversial moments that happened in the previous season.
