How To Farm Golden Apples
Golden Apples seem to randomly grow onapple trees dotted around Hyrule. As you adventure, you might not have gathered as much as you want, and this is because they can bescarce in supply,
They can be hard to spot if you don’t know they’re there, so if you see an apple tree you shouldgive it a proper once overto see if you may spot any Golden Apples.
Either chop the tree down, climb up it, or shoot them off with arrows. With that in mind, there are a few places you can frequent togather plenty of Golden Apples.
Sonapan Shrine
Part of the eastern side of Satori Mountain is asmall orchard filled with apple trees. This patch of trees can be accessed directly outside ofSonapan Shrine, in the eastern section of Hyrule Field.
Directly outside the shrine, you should be able toimmediately spot Golden Applesgrowing on the trees.
This patch of trees also hastwo Evermeans, and they will ambush you as you explore.
Make sure you have anaxe or a slashing weaponto deal with them quickly.
Everything in the overworld, including previously acquiredmaterialsandweaponslying on the ground or elsewhere, will respawn after every Blood Moon.
You can gather a total ofnine Golden Appleseach moon cycle from this location.
The Lost Woods
To reach the Lost Woods and get through to the home of the Koroks, you need toenter from underground. You can do this by jumping into Minshi Woods Chasm, which is slightlysouthwest of the entranceto the Lost Woods.
When you enter the cave, travel roughlynorthwest to a large pillaryou can use Ascend to travel through.
When you reach the Lost Woods, you need tohelp the Deku Treeto remove the Gloom over the forest.
After doing this, you can explore the Korok Forest properly. To theeast of the Great Deku Tree, you can find Mido Swamp.
On the other side of Mido Swamp, you’ll findanother supply of Golden Apples.
This whole swamp iscrawling with enemies, but if you follow the littleplant lights, you can get to the other side.
You will find two trees, both of which have onlyGolden Apples growing on them. Gather them amm for atotal of six apples.
Since the home of the Koroks is rather difficult to get to without travelling far and into the Depths, your best bet might be better off farming them from the first location we recommend - outside of Sonapan Shrine.
