When you first start playingDave The Diver, Bancho Sushi restaurant will have limited recipes since you can’t get a lot of fish. Although, as you progress further into the game and unlock new areas, the number of recipes will increase exponentially. Sometimes, you’ll also need to prepare special dishes for VIPs.

Unlike normal restaurant days, you don’t have a bunch of choices when it comes to special guests and VIPs. You’ll be asked to get specific ingredients in a certain number of days, and Barreleye fish is one of them. You’ll have to get quite far into the game to get this fish.
Where To Find Barreleye
If you want to acquire Barreleye in Dave The Diver, you’ll first have to get to the Sea People Village. After you help a bunch of people in this village,the ruler will ask you to get a special key from the Abandoned Cave. This key will open the door to the Glacier Passage, and that’s where you’ll find this fish.
Glacier Passage is an area divided into multiple rooms, and you can find it in the top-middle section of the village. If you’re at the bottom section,you’ll have to use the portal in the middle to get to the top. You can start farming Barreleyes as soon as you enter Glacier Passage.
How To Get Three-Star Barreleye
Three-Star fish are the best quality in Dave The Diver, and you have to use a specific method to get them. If you get a three-star version of Barreleye,you’ll get more servings (three instead of one) and a golden card for your collection. To catch this version, you’ll first have to put the fish to sleep.
Thankfully, since Barreleye is a small fish,you don’t have to use a Salvage Drone to get it to the boat. There are a few ways you can tranquilize the fish:
Normal Tranquilizer weapons only have a40 percent chance of applying the effectwhenever their bullets hit an enemy.
Once the fish is asleep, you’re able to simply swim to it and pick it up to put it in your inventory. You’ll have it ready at Bancho Sushi as far as you get out of the water with it. Moreover, you can alsouse a Net Gun to catch the fish’s three-star version without having to tranquilize it. This way, you can get multiple of them at the same time.
