You’ll spend most of your time underwater inDave The Diver, and there will be plenty of fish species for you to capture. Every fish you capture at the start of the game can be sold or used as an ingredient for the Sushi restaurant, but eventually, you’ll be asked to get a specific fish by Udo.
This feature will unlock after you get to a certain part of the main quest and take a bunch of pictures for the NPC. The Humphead/Horned Parrotfish is one of these special fish, and you can only find them when you get a task to capture them in FishMon.
How To Find Horned Parrotfish
Horned Parrotfish can only be found in the Blue Hole once you unlock the FishMon app. To do this,you’ll have to get to the sixth chapter of Dave The Diver and take a bunch of pictures for Udo. On one of the mornings, the NPC will arrive at your boat and tell you that you can catch one of the special fish every Saturday through FishMon.
Horned Parrotfish will be the first of these fish, and the clue to finding it will be that it’s near a Shipwreck. Theonly shipwreck you’ve been asked to travel tohas been the yellow ship,but that’s not where you’ll find this fish. To get the Parrotfish, simply dive underwater during the morning or afternoon and swim all the way to the right.
Go down to about 26 meters of depth andyou’ll find the fish swimming near a white shipwreck. When you get close, the device given by Udo will also start beeping, signaling that you’re in the correct area.
How To Capture Horned Parrotfish
The special trait of this Horned Parrotfish is thatit can’t be attacked from the front because of its horn crown. As soon as you get near it, it’ll aggro on you and start attacking in small intervals. Every few seconds, the fish will dash to your current location.Avoid the dash by going up or down and attack it from behind.

Once you put the fish to sleep by any means, you can simplyget close to it and press the button shown on the screen to put it in your inventory. Thankfully, you don’t need a Salvage Drone to get this fish to the boat alive.
