Zombologist
Unlock every zombie type in the Zompedia.
Killing all Zombie types once will earn you this trophy. If you complete all the Main Quests, Side Quests, and Lost and Found Quests, this trophy will automatically pop. There are 31 types of Zombies that you can check in your inside Zompedia in Collectibles.
On Safari
Complete the first tier of every Zombie Challenge.
There are a total of 84 challenges in Dead Island 2. If you complete the first tier of each Challenge, you will get these trophies.
Variety is the Spice of Death
Sharpest Tool in the Box
Complete 5 Lost & Found Weapon Quests.
There are six Weapon Quests in Dead Island 2, and if you complete five of them, you will earn this trophy.
Sole Survivor
Complete 9 Lost & Found Missing Person Quests.
There are nine Missing Person Quests, and completing them all will earn you this trophy.
Jumbo Keyring
Unlock 10 Lockboxes.
There are around 50 Lockboxes in the game. Unlocking any ten of those will unlock this trophy.
Bookworm
Collect 50 Journals.
You will get around 100 Journals from Main Quests, Side Quest, and Lost and Found Quests. Collecting 50 will earn you this trophy.
Stacking the Deck
Collect 30 Skill Cards.
Skill Cards can be acquired by leveling up or completing Quests. Collect 30 Skill Cards to unlock this trophy. You will automatically get this trophy on your way to acquiring the “Max Headroom” trophy.
Humanity Distilled
Equip your first Numen Skill Card.
This is a story-related trophy, and it can not be missed. You acquire the Numen Skill Card during Main Quest, “The Search For Truth.”
Upon reaching level 30, this trophy will pop.
Down with the Sickness
Reach the highest tier of Autophage infection by equipping Autophage Skills.
As you progress through the game, you will get Skill cards with Autophage Skills. They have a skull icon on the bottom, making them easy to spot. Collect more cards like these and equip three of them for this trophy.
Anger Management
Slay 50 zombies with Fury Attacks.
After completing the Main Quest, “The Red Mist,” you will unlock the ability of Fury Mode. This skull gauge fills up. when you kill zombies. Once it is full, you can activate it and deal increased damage using your fists. Kill 50 zombies with the Fury Attacks for this trophy.
This is My Weapon
Fully upgrade a Superior weapon and customize it with a mod or perk in every slot.
Getting Superior Weapons becomes a frequent occurrence mid-late game. You can also buy them from the merchants. These are purple-colored weapons that you must fully upgrade. Go to a workbench and add three mods to all the slots for this trophy to pop.
Not Even My Final Form
Slay a Mutator before it transforms.
A Mutator is a normal Walker zombie that is not wearing any clothes on their upper body. They might look normal, but once they spot you, they change into big grotesque monsters with an open ribcages. There are several ways of killing a Mutator before they transform. You can headshot them quickly with a hunting rifle. You can also use Fury Mode to take them out quickly before transforming.
Hazardous Materials
Slay 100 Zombies using Caustic, Fire, or Shock damage.
There are several ways of killing zombies with elemental damage. You can modify weapons with elemental damage, use Skill Cards, or simply do environmental damage. When you kill a total of 100 zombies with elemental damage, you will get the trophy.
Break a Leg
Maim 100 limbs.
Any sharp weapons that you may own can cut zombies' legs. Just focus on maiming every zombie’s legs while completing the Main Quests or Side Quests.
Slayer Squad
Complete any 5 quests in co-op.
Invite a friend and join someone’s game and complete any five quests, either Main, Side, or Lost and Found Quests.
I Am the Resurrection
Revive other Slayers 5 times.
Have your friend go down to a zombie and revive them five times for this trophy.
Coup de Grâce
Slay 25 zombies using finishing moves.
There are times when zombies will go down to low health, and this will cause them to go down. You can then press the prompted button to stomp them. Doing this 25 times will earn you this trophy.
Perks of the Job
Complete 5 Blueprint Challenges.
There are seven Blueprint Challenges in Dead Island 2. Completing any five will unlock this trophy for you.
Donk!
Throw a melee weapon and hit a zombie 35+ meters away.
You will encounter some zombies that are either standing still on feeding on a corpse. These are perfect for this trophy, as you can fill your inventory with throwables and throw all of them until one of them hits. You can throw it a bit above so it goes a bit far, allowing the trophy to pop.
Apex Predator
Knock down 10 Apex Variants.
There are 11 Apex Variants in the game. Defeating any ten of those will earn you this trophy. Completing the “Zombologist” trophy will automatically pop this trophy.
I Got a Zombie Army and You Can’t Harm Me
Perform 25 perfect defensive moves.
Perfect dodge in the game is when you press L1 at the last moment before you are about to get hit. Doing this 25 times will unlock the trophy.
