Although often overlooked, PvP is a major part ofFinal Fantasy 14, offering a variety of different game modes and rewards. If you’re looking to get your hands on a rare and unique weapon, but don’t feel like grinding out a Relic weapon, PvP may have something for you.

By performing well in PvP competitive seasons, you can earn tokens that will grant you the right to obtain a unique Augmented Hellhound weapon. These rare weapons can be difficult to obtain, so below you can learn everything you need to know.
How To Get Hellhound Weapons
Before you may get your hands on your Augmented Hellhound weapon, you’ll need the base version, aHellhound weapon, first. These weapons can bepurchased from the Collar Quartermaster in the Wolves' Den Pier (X:4.4, Y:6.2) for ten Wolf Collars.
Typically, Wolf Collars can only be obtained at the end of seasons of the PvP mode The Feast. However, if you don’t want to wait that long, or have no interest in playing the Feast, there is another way to obtain Wolf Collars.
you may purchase Wolf Collars for 1,000 Trophy Crystals from the Crystal Quartermaster in the Wolves' Den Pier (X:4.4, Y:6.1). Trophy Crystals are earned through the Series Malmstones system, which levels up as you participate in PvP matches.
You’ll need10,000 Trophy Crystals in totalto purchase all ten Wolf Collars.
How To Get Augmented Hellhound Weapons
Augmented Hellhound weapons can be obtained bytrading your Hellhound weapon and two Commendation Crystals to the Commendation Quartermasterin the Wolves' Den Pier. Commendation Crystals are earned byreaching Diamond or higher rankduring the PvP season. You’ll get the Commendation Crystals, and a few other rewards, when the season ends.
Currently, season seven is still going, so youwon’t actually be able to get Commendation Crystals, or your Augmented Hellhound weapon, for that matter,until this season finishes. Likewise, the Commendation Quartermaster won’t be available until the season is over.
There are roughly two seasons per major content patch, so aroundhalfway between the release of patch 6.4 and 6.5should be when season seven finishes and season eight starts. This means you have until then to rank up high enough to earn some Commendation Crystals. You can check the rewards you receive in each rank below.
