Description
Crawling Rush
Gobermouch rushes towards you on all fours, then jumps up and swings.
This is how Gobermouch reaches you when you’re far. They’re vulnerable after swinging, so be quick to dodge once the monster gets up from their crawl.
Club Combo
Gobermouch will swing downward diagonally, then swing again horizontally.
It’s important that you dodge the first hit of this combo because it’s much harder to dodge the second hit if you’re struck by the first swing. Luckily, Gobermouch holds their club above their head for a long time, giving you plenty of time to back away.
Overhead Swing
Gobermouch will take their club overhead and swing it downwards.
Like the Club Combo, Gobermouch will hold their club above their head for a long time before swinging downwards. This attack hits pretty hard and can leave you vulnerable for a long time if you’re struck.
Little Swing
Gobermouch will spin around with their club, constantly pursuing you.
This attack is easy to dodge, given how slow Gobermouch moves. The duration of this attack will increase as the battle continues, so it’s best to wait until the attack is finished. If you want to test your luck, you can parry this attack, but the timing is pretty strict. Use your Limit Break or a Precision Counter for an easier time parrying.
Goblin Punch
Gobermouch will wind up, then throw a flurry of punches. Then they will lunge forward for one final hit.
This is Gobermouch’s most formidable attack. Capable of dealing a ton of damage, prepare to dodge when this monster’s hand starts glowing blue. Don’t forget about the last hit on Goblin Punch; that lunge covers a fair distance.
The Gobermouch’sLittle Swing and Goblin Punch attacks are the only threats you’ll need to watch out for.Little Swing is very easy to dodge due to its slow speed. Remember thatthis attack can be parriedif you’re willing to take the risk.
Goblin Punch is also easy to dodge, but you have to rememberthe final hit of Goblin Punch comes after the first flurry of punches. This attack can tear through your HP if you try to rush in and attack too early.
For any boss, it’s worth equipping Garuda for Deadly Embrace’s ability to stagger enemies with half of their Will bar remaining. However,The Gobermouch lacks a Will gauge, meaning it’s completely up to you which Eikons you want to bring to this fight. Unleashing strong abilities like Gigaflare and Judgment Boltafter each of Gobermouch’s attacksis crucial to ending this fight quickly.
