Link stands at the entrance to the Yiga clan Hideout.

Just like in Breath of the Wild, the Yiga Clan is obsessed with bringing ruin to Hyrule. In Tears of the Kingdom, they also now have a vendetta against Link for previously taking down their leader, Master Kogha. This time around, you can actually get inside the Yiga Clan’s secret hideout by pretending to be one of them.

How To Get Inside The Yiga Clan Hideout

The Yiga Clan Hideout islocated in the Gerudo region. If you are trying to approach the hideout from the Gerudo Desert, you’ll need tohead north to the Karusa Valley.

Once you find the valley’s entrance, you cancontinue up the hilluntil you reach the hideout.

An easier way to reach the Yiga Clan Hideout is available if you have theGerudo Highlands Skyview Towerunlocked. Fast travel to this Skyview Tower, thenheadsouth to the Karusa Valley, and you can paraglide down closer to the hideout entrance.

At the hideout’s entrance, you’ll see a man trying to get in. He’s turned straight away becausethey’ll only let in a true Yiga.

Witnessing this scene triggers the quest, “Infiltrating the Yiga Clan.”

Link speaks to a Yiga Blademaster to train to get rewards.

Now, you’re able to’t just waltz up to the door to get in. The minute the Yiga see Link, you’ll beimmediately attacked.

To get inside the Yiga Clan Hideout,you’ll need a disguise. You will have towear the fullYiga Armorset to be let into the Yiga Clan Hideout.

How To Complete Yiga Clan Training

As you keep going through the hideout, you will eventually enter alarge training area. Thegate out of the training area is blockedby a Yiga Clan member who thinks you look a little out of line.

To move through the gate, and to get some good rewards, you will need tocomplete the Yiga Clan training. Talk to theYiga Blademaster on the second floorof the training room to begin.

How To Get The Earthwake Technique and Lightning Helm

The Blademaster will explain how the training works, saying that you’ll need tospar with other Yiga members.

Each attempt costs 100 rupees. As a kind gesture, your first attempt will be free.

Link sees a crack in the wall that leads to a secret tunnel.

You’ll get rewards for doing this training, with better rewards based onhow many Yiga members you defeat in a one-minute period.

TheLightning Helm

Your first challenge shouldn’t be too difficult, just pay attention to when the Yiga membersteleport above youso you’re able to avoid their attacks.

Make sure to equip aspear weaponfor your Yiga training. Target your Yiga enemies with ZLright after they teleport near you, and the range of your spear attacks will reach them easily.

The two tougher challenges are worth clearing for their rewards. TheEarthwake Techniqueis an attack that you can do while you are unarmed and is a technique that Yiga Blademasters have used against you before.

TheLightning Helm, though a knock-off from the true version owned by Riju, is still abletofully repel lightning.

Yiga Clan Hideout Secrets and Rewards

The Yiga Clan Hideout offers a fewother secretsand opportunities past the ones you get during training.

In the first chamber, after you enter from the front there will be asecret room hidden by a huge tapestry. There is a convenientTorchby the central pedestalwhere the Yiga Blademaster stands.

you may use this torch, light it up, thenburn down the tapestryby holding the lit torch near it. This reveals a few barrels and a chest that contains anEightfold Bladewith higher stats.

On your way to thevehicle repair room, you may have noticed achest in a locked cell. First, go to the lower level of the vehicle room, and you’ll see somecracks in the wall.

Destroy the wall, and you’ll be able to continue through an underground path. You’ll have tokeep destroying rocks that are in the way, but you’ll soon reach that chest locked behind the cell.

Open it to receive aSneaky Elixir.

As you destroy the rocks in the path, they will dropswords and smaller rocks that you can Fuse togetherto keep going through the path.

Before you leave the vehicle repair room, there are a couple more things you’re able to do. Two Yiga members are repairing vehicles, and both offer to sell them to you under the table.

You can take theGloomdredgerout for a joyride for 999 rupees, and theHoverdoom MK3out for99 rupees.

However, you can also add the spiky machinery to yourAutobuild selection. Simply take themissing partthat is lying near the vehicle, andattach it to finish fixing the vehicle.

This will add the Gloomdredger or Hoverdoom MK3 to your Autobuild list, whichyou can favorite and rebuild whenever you want.

After clearing your training, you’ll be able to keep moving through the hideout until you eventually exit out the back. Out here, you’ll immediately notice the aptly namedYiga Clan Hideout Chasm, plus theRostumamu Shrinenearby.
