RELATED:Honkai: Star Rail - Simulated Universe World Six Guide
To unlock this world, you’ll first have to encounter the Ebon Deer during the main quest of The Xianzhou Luofu. Once you finish the quest involving this boss, you can come back to Simulated Universe and enter this world on any difficulty you want.
Elite Enemies Encountered In World Seven
Most worlds before this featured a group of four Elite enemies that could be encountered on the fourth and eighth floors of the world, but World Seven features up to seven Elite enemies. You’ll still only have to fight one on each of the floors mentioned, but the pool is diverse, which makes the process much more difficult.
This is because each Elite enemy has different sets of weaknesses, and it’s quitehard to win against them if you don’t use a character with the necessary combat type. Here are all the Elites you may encounter in World Seven and what they do:
The Ascended
Physical, Ice, Lightning
The Ascended was one of the bosses released in the Version 1.2 update, andshe’s known for lowering your maximum health. After every few turns, she’ll perform an AoE attack that converts some of your HP to a gray bar.
This means that your characterscan’t heal past the threshold unless the healer is also capable of removing this debuff. Using Preservation characters is a great idea against this enemy.
Malefic Ape
Fire, Ice, Wind
Malefic Ape is another boss with aspecial ability that forces you to strategize your Skill usage. You will sometimes see an eye on one of your characters' heads while fighting this enemy.
This eye goes over to any character that uses their Skill, andthis enemy will always target the character with the eye when it gets a turn. This isn’t a debuff that can be cleansed.
Blaze Out Of Space
Physical, Ice, Quantum
This enemy doesn’t deal a ton of damage at the start of the battle, but its damage increases monumentally if the battle goes on for too long.It keeps applying Burn to your characters whenever they’re hit.
The Burn effect can stack, and it starts dealingquite a lot of damage to your characterswhenever they get a turn if you don’t cleanse it.
Stormbringer
Fire, Ice, Imaginary
This boss is highly resistant to Wind damage, and he also deals great multi-target damage. Apart from all that, he also has anattack that summons four smaller Wind birds on the battlefield.
Silvermane Lieutenant
This enemy has a range of attacks that involvesingle-target damage, multi-target damage, summoning of extra enemies, and Counter. The Counter always comes after he summons more guards to the field.
Whenever the boss is in the Counter state, it’ll instantly launch an attack on the first enemy that attacks it. Although,follow-up attacks and Path Resonance are exceptions.
Aurumaton Gatekeeper
Lightning, Wind, Quantum
This boss can spawn two explosive enemies on each side andhide its Weaknesses whenever it reaches a 100 percent Sanction Rate. You can only bring its Weakness back by defeating the summoned enemies.
Moreover, it excels at dealingmulti-target damage and Imprisoning your characters, which makes it important to use someone who can cleanse a debuff.
Disciple of Sanctus Medicus: Shape Shifter
Ice, Wind, Imaginary
This boss can be considered a Mara-Struck version of Silvermane Lieutenant. Their attacks are very similarexcept this enemy doesn’t have a counter. It can spawn various Mara-Struck soldiers on the field.
When the enemies with Rebirth are there, this boss can regenerate its own health whenever it deals damage to your characters.
You get one Respite room between the first and the second Elite, and you can get a new character in this room.
This allows you toswitch over to a character with a different combat typethat suits the second group of Elites.
Complete Ebon Deer Boss Battle Guide
After going through two Elites and a total of 12 floors, you’ll finally encounter Abundant Ebon Deer. This boss has three phases and a bunch of attacks in every phase. It excels at spawning extra enemies on the battlefield and can one-shot you if you ignore the branches spawned on the field.
The boss is weak to Fire, Ice, and Quantum combat types, but the extra branches spawned don’t share the same Weaknesses. If you want to win this battle at higher difficulties, you’ll have to use a lot of strategy. Here’s a list of all its attacks to help you with that:
One, Two, and Three
Caress of Wind
Uses its horns todeal Wind DMGto all the allies on the field.
Vigor Overflow
Every time the deer gains a buff, thedamage dealt by all the enemies on the battlefield increases.
Pedical: Hazel Lush
Two
Summons two Twigs of Marple Leaf, one Wintry Wind, and one Glorious Blooms.
Pedical: Entwined Vines
Three
Summons two Twigs of Lavish Fruits, one Marple Leaf, and one Wintry Wind.
Flamboyant Gore
This Ultimate is used if there are two Lavish Fruits on the battlefield. Itdeals huge AoE Lightning DMG to all your charactersand removes all the branches on the field.
This attack is capable of one-shotting all your characters.
The different types of Twigs summoned by the boss canapply various buffs to it and debuffs to your character. The Lavish Fruits Twigs create a fruit after a few turns, which can help the boss activate its Ultimate. While fighting Ebon Deer, it’s always recommended to take care of the branches first if you’re using a single-target character.
Best Characters And Path For World Seven
Much like any other World of the Simulated Universe, World Seven is the easiest to beat if you use the Destruction path. This path increases your damage while providing sustainability to your characters. It also has a three-star Blessing that allows all your characters to split the incoming DMG.
Since the Ebon Deer already has an AoE one-shot,it’s recommended to upgrade this Blessing if you manage to acquire it. Moreover, if you’re confident in your characters' sustainability, you’re able to also go for the Hunt, Elation, or Nihility path depending on the characters you’re using.
Here are some of the best characters that can give you a ton of value in this World:
Reason
Luocha
Most Elites and even the final boss in World Seven apply a ton of debuffs to your characters, and some of these debuffs can also make them skip their move. In this scenario,a healer who can remove debuffs is great.
Apart from that, Luocha can also remove enemy buffs when you use his Ultimate, which counters the Ebon Deer’s Vigor Overflow ability.
Silver Wolf
As mentioned above, you have no way of knowing the Elite that you’ll be facing on floors four and eight. Since you can only use four characters at a time,Silver Wolf can help you get the required combat typeeven if the enemy doesn’t have it.
Jing Yuan
Released as the second limited character in the game,Jing Yuan is great at multi-target damage, which can help fight the bosses that summon extra enemies.
Blade
Blade was released in the same update as World Seven for the first time, andhis multi-target capabilities can help you a lot here. Moreover, the sheer amount of enemies on the field can increase his chances of getting attacked.
Pela
Pela is one of the underrated characters of Honkai: Star Rail. Apart from being able to apply DEF reduction on all the enemies, she can also reduce Toughness if the enemy is weak to Ice, which is common in this World.
World Seven Rewards
World Seven features up to four difficulties, and you can get different rewards for clearing each one of them for the first time. Once you finish the first difficulty, the rest of them will automatically unlock given that you have the required Equilibrium level. If you finish the hardest difficulty, you’ll automatically get the rewards for the ones before.
Here are all the rewards you can get from each difficulty:
