In the sixth world of the Simulated Universe, you will face Cocolia once again as she unleashes her complete form in battle, accompanied by her supportive daughter. Here’s everything you need to know.
Possible Enemies In World Six
When you travel across this world, you will have to defeat different enemies fromthe Fragmentum Monster and Xianzhou Luofu factions. Most of the stages will be plagued by minor enemies at random, butthere are four specific Elite enemies and one final boss fight.
This enemy will inflict hard Imaginary damage, with a chance of also applying the Imprisonment debuff to your party members, which can prove immensely annoying.
The Frigid Prowler uses an array of Ice Damage moves that can inflict the Deep Freeze effect on your party, so you must be able to mitigate damage or remove debuffs to deal with it, as it will decrease your Speed.
The Frigid Prowlercan also summon Everwinter Shadewalkers, which aren’t difficult to defeat.
This enemy will usually deal minor amounts of Ice Damage, nothing out of the ordinary. However, it can use a technique called Frosty Absorption to enter a Freezing Point state that will allow it to hit you with Everwinter Rain, an attack that will deal Ice Damage to the whole party.
The Decaying Shadow has several attacks that will deal Imaginary Damage to your party members, but one of her most annoying techniques is not one of her offensive ones. Fleeting Veil, an ability that can annoyingly increase the length of the battle bymitigating damage, also has the possibility of imprisoning one of your characters.
When it uses Binding of the Golden Age,it will gain nine Gauge Recollection stacks before casting Liberation of the Golden Agethe next turn. It will lose one stack per successful attack against it, andthe resulting damage will depend on the number of stacks in its possession.
Summons Ice Edges.
Hoarfrost of Eternal Isolation
Deals Ice Damage to a single target, with a 100 percent chance to inflict Freeze.
Wrath of Winterland Saints
Enters the Charge state. The next action casts “Punishment of Endless Winter” on all targets.
Deals massive Ice Damage to all targets.
Reverberating Ice
Deals Ice Damage to Frozen targets and any adjacent unit. This also removes the target’s Frozen state, and if the adjacent units are Frozen, the ability is used again.
Intensifying Cold
The unit and all summoned objects gain slightly increased Damage for each Frozen target on the enemy team. This effect stacks.
Deals Wind Damage to a single target.
Combat Redeployment
Dispels all debuffs on a friendly unit except Bronya, causes them to take action immediately, and increases their Damage dealt by 20 percent.
Summons a Silvermane Soldier or a Silvermane Gunner.
Suppressive Fire
Deals Wind Damage to a single target and delays their action.
Cocolia’s fight will have three very different phases, and depending how you act throughout them will determine the outcome. During the first fight, she won’t do much other than summon one or two Ice Edges, andwhile they don’t seem too strong, you must take care of those as fast as possible, since she will use an action immediately once the phase ends andshe could easily kill a member of your party if the ice edges add damage on top of hers.
Something worth noting is thatshe will also apply the Freeze debuff a lot, so keep that in mind and bring a debuff remover if you may.
Now, for the second phase, she will employ the aid of her daughter Bronya. It is very important you dispatch her as soon as you cansince she will constantly boost Cocolia’s attack and speed, which can prove brutal or even mortal if she survives up to the next phase, and alsoenable Cocolia to use a massive attack called Punishment of Endless Winter.
Always focus on Bronya until she falls in defeat, and then go for Cocolia until the second HP bar depletes.
For the final phase, it will be a powered-up version of the first one, somake sure you destroy any Ice Edge that spawns as soon as possible, mitigate or heal as often as needed, and keep removing any debuffs from your party.Slowly but surely you should be able to defeat Cocolia once and for all.
Recommended Setup For World Six
Given Cocolia’s weaknesses and resistances, you want to focus on Quantum, Lightning, and Fire unitsthat can form a well-balanced team. Some great DPS options for your team areSeele and Jing Yuan, both of which can inflict massive damage, accompanied by solid supports that boost speed or damage likeAsta and Tingyun, and defensive/healing units like theTrailblazer of Preservation and Bailu.
On the Path side, whatever you choose will fully depend on what your team composition is.If you want to kill Cocolia as fast as possible you could invest ina very aggressive DPS team and go for the Path Of The Hunt, ensuring you hit her many times with fast units like Seelebefore she can even begin.
If you want a more safe experience, going for the Path of Abundance will never fail as long as you have a balanced partywith enough DPS units, a healer, or a tank that can withstand or mitigate enough damage to slowly burn Cocolia’s HP down. And last, if you want to play this fight with a defensive angle, you want to prioritize the Trailblazer of the Preservation Path as a tank, while supporting him with the many defensive buffs the Path of Preservation has to offer.
