How To Catch A Frog
Frogs in The Sims 4 are divided intocommon, uncommon, and raredepending on how easy it is for your Sim to find and catch them.
There are three locations where you’re able to find frogs. You can head to an outdoor space andsearch under logs or inside water pumpsto find frogs.
Alternatively, ponds are an effective frog-finding place, and you can either head to one of thepark locationsor create your own pond in your garden using the Build Mode.
If you are struggling to find a specific type of frog, the best places to look are at the existing ponds in places such as Willows Creek, as they contain rarer frogs.
Once you have found a log, water pump, or pond, click on it and select Look For Frogs. This allows your Sim to search for frogs, and once collected, you will find them in your inventory.
If your Sim has the Nature aspiration, they also get the collector reward trait which will help them find the rarer types of frogs.
Types Of Frogs
Each frog is made up of one type and one attribute. The type and attribute are what decide the frog’s species.
Different species of frogs will also have different rarities as well as varying values that they could potentially be sold for.

How To Breed Frogs
All you need to start breeding istwo frogs in your inventory.Simply click on the frog and select Breed.
All the other frogs you own will pop up, and you can select which frog you would like to breed with.
To breed two frogs, they must be in your inventory and not out on display.
As stated before, each frog has one type and one attribute. Your frog’s type and attributedepend on what the parent frogs contain. However, breeding is a case of trial and error, andyou may not get the desired frog the first time around.
For example, if you wanted a Surfer Eggplant Frog, you would need to breed one of the Surfer Frogs with one of the Eggplant Frogs.
You may be lucky enough to get the frog you wanted, but you may also end up with a different frog with the same attribute or type, such as a basic Surfer Frog.
You can breed your frogs as many times as you want to achieve the desired result but mustwait four in-game hours before you can try again.
