You’ll be catching sea creatures great and small inDave the Diver, and not many come smaller than the little sea horses you’ll see swimming about the place. There are many little critters floating about in the Giant Blue Hole, but you might be finding it hard trying to catch them as harpoons, net guns, and more don’t seem to have any effect.

If you’re wondering how to catch the likes of sea horses, cliones, chambered nautiluses, and shrimp, we’ll cover exactly what you need to do to ensure Dave can get his diving mitts on these creatures.

How To Catch Small Creatures

Seahorses and other small creatures can be hard to spot at times as they’re so small, and you’ll quickly notice none of your weapons have any effect in catching them. To be able to catch them, you need the Bug Net.

Once you have the Bug Net, you’re able to go up to any small creature and simply press the button (spacebar on keyboard, and X on controller) to scoop them up.

1x Kelp

1x Soy Sauce

Found in dispatch and cooking pots.

Once you’ve served Maki her requested meal, she’ll want you to catch a clione for her, and to do that, she will give you theBug Net. Cliones can be found in the Blue Hole Depths at 130-250m.

Once you have the Bug Net, you will always have it to hand, and it does not take up one of your equipment slots.
