How To Clean Dust
If you don’t want to face the consequences of dust-ups and your dust piles, quite literally, taking on a life of their own, you first have tobuy a vacuum.
To do so, openBuild Modeand selectElectronicsin the category section for the game to show you all the items you can buy. Thevacuum prices range from §340 to §950, depending on the model.
Once you’ve got a vacuum,select the dustand then“Vacuum.”You can also click on the floor of a room you want to clean and choose“Vacuum to Perfection.”And voilà! The dust is gone.
Regularlycheck your vacuum’s storageand make sure to keep it empty, so it keeps cleaning correctly. You canempty your vacuumby selecting it and then choosing“Empty It.”
You can buy different vacuums depending on what you want or need. As an adult Sim, you canuse a handheld vacuum to clean objectsand anupright vacuum to clean the dust from the floor.Child Sims can clean the floor with handheld vacuums only.
Dust Bunnies
A Dust Bunny isthe form the dust takes when you don’t vacuum for at least eight hours.These creatures have a bunny shape and jump around. They are pretty cute, and we think the game developers might agree on this, too, becauseyou also have the option to name the Dust Bunny, befriend it, and even feed it!
You canfeed your Dust Bunniesby vacuuming regular dust first. Having dust in your vacuum’s storage will make the option appear, justselect the Dust Bunnyand then select“Feed Dust.”
How To Clean Dust With No Electricity
For players who decided to take the challenge to a different level and got the Bust the Dust kit whileliving off-grid, don’t panic! There’s also a way toclean dust without having electricity.
To make this possible, you’ll first need toinstall The Sims 4: Eco Lifestyle, an expansion launched in 2020 which allows players to adapt their Sims to asustainable lifestyle.
You can get sustainable power in your off-grid home by installing aWind Turbine and/or a Solar Panel.Make sure toplace them in the best locationdepending on what you installed; of course, you need enough wind for the turbine and plenty of sunlight for the panel.
Once you havesustainable power, you’re able to purchase a vacuum and repeat the same process explained above.
