Disney Illusion Islandhas many Quests you must tackle before rolling credits, with the vast majority centering around learning new Abilities, opening Locked Doors, and besting the formidable bosses that stand in your way. A perfect example is theA Little Light Reading Questwhich has a little bit of everything above, minus the boss encounter.

Even without having a boss encounter, this Quest can be a bit challenging, but obtaining theSwing Abilityfrom Mazzy makes your efforts more than worth it, even ifgathering Keysto open aLocked Dooris becoming more and more frequent now.

Find The Entrance To Old Town Guide

Completing this Task takes mere seconds,as the moment you’redone speaking to Dextofinishoff the ‘What The Dex Is Going On?‘Quest,you just have towalk a bit to the righttodiscover the entranceofOld Town.

Whileyou cannot enter Old Town without the Swing Ability,you just have to find its entrance, which will thenkick off the next Task:Find A Way Over Massive Gaps.

Find A Way Over Massive Gaps Guide

It wouldn’t be a Disney Illusion Island Quest guide without at least oneLocked Door Task,right? However, this one is a tad different, as you cangather all three Keys before you even come across the Locked Door.Follow the steps below toget them in the optimal orderto avoid backtracking!

Locked Door: First Key

From theentrance of Old Town,headnortheast and follow the pathway up to the first Checkpointin the upper portion of the region. There will bemany hooks here that you cannot yet useuntil you get the Swing Ability, but youcan still platform through most of the area.

Once at this Checkpoint,continue northeast until you reach a section where you have to Wall Jump up to another Checkpointacross from a pink couch. Next,continue west to find a series of purple plant platforms over a pit of spikesandmake your way across to the other endof the room.

Next,drop down to the area belowtodiscover yet another Checkpointnear a few trees, thenhead to the right and drop down into the room below.Thefirst Key will be near the upper leftcornerof the room.

To obtain the Key,use the seesaw in the center of the arena to launch yourself upwardandWall Jump off the left wall to get onto the platform aboveyou. From here,head all the way to the left,thenWall Jump onto the purple plant,thenjump from here into the Keyto acquire it!

Locked Door: Second Key

With the first Key in your possession,head back up to the Checkpoint near the trees,thenhead west and follow this pathway until you reach a Checkpoint with a seesawnext to it.Make your way into the room to the northwestof it todiscover the second Key.

To acquire this Key,use the first seesaw to launch yourself toward the cageholding the Key, thenWall Jump off the side of it and once again from the vine to the right to land on the cage.From here,drop down from the left side and Ground Pound the breakable floor.

Next,use the second seesawon the left tolaunch yourself upward and through the Keyto obtain it, leaving only one remaining!

Locked Door: Third Key

Thethird and final Keyisn’t too far from the previous one and is actuallynearby the Locked Dooryou have yet to discover. So,let’s first go over where the Locked Door is.Headnortheast from the room with the previous Keyuntil you reachanother Checkpoint with a seesawbeside it.

Once here,use the seesaw to reach the area above you,thencontinue northeast,taking the bounce pads to the Locked Door.Now that you know where this is,turn around and head west straight ahead from the Locked Doordirectlyinto the room with the final Key.

Mumblefink in Disney Illusion Island

Use the bounce pad to Wall Jump onto the area with the Cactusenemy, thenGround Pound the breakable floorin the section just below you.

From there,jump down onto the lowest section of the flooranduse the seesaw to launch yourself toward the wall on the right,thenWall Jump off of it onto the purple plantsitting on the left. Then simplyjump off the plant and through the Keyto acquire the third and final Key.

With all three Keys in your possession,head back to the Locked Door to open itand access the next area!

Mazzy: Swing Ability

After opening the Locked Door,follow the linear path to the east, then follow it downward until you meet Mazzy.Manypurple plants, spikes, and enemies will be scattered throughout your descent,so be cautious on your way down.

Whilethere are many branching paths hereas well,all the additional ones are blocked off due to your lack of the Swing Ability, funneling you down one long linear pathway.As a result,you must follow it downward to meet Mazzyfirst before you can explore the other routes.

Nonetheless,once you reach Mazzy,he will give everyone theSwing Ability,enabling you to pass over large gaps,bringing a close to this Task!

Remaining Tasks Guide

Now that you have access to theSwing Ability,theremainder of the Tasks for the Quest aren’t nearly as involvedas the previous one, so we decided to lump them into the sections below.

Swing Into Old Town Guide

After obtaining theSwing Abilityfrom Mazzy,make your way back to the entrance of Old Townanduse it to pass over the large gap.Whileyou can simply backtrack to the entrance, you can also take the pathway to the west and follow that backto the central area as well. The choice is yours here.

Visit The Antique Book Dealer Guide

Once you’re in Old Town, simply head eastward until you bump into Mumblefink,the Antique Book Dealer, which will provide several lines of dialogue.After you finish speaking with him, this Task will be completed,as will the A Little Light Reading Quest!
