How To Start A Walk On The Waterfront
Visit theNovigrad Docks,in the south of the city and look out fora well-dressed man being confronted by a trio of thugs.Approaching the group will start a cutscene where the men tell Geralt to leave them alone.
Ignoring the group will make the quest impossible to start,considering that they willkill Ginter without Geralt’s intervention.
This quest willautomatically failif youcompleteCount Reuven’s Treasurebefore starting it, as well.
Choosing to intervenewill have the groupattack Geralt,forcing you to kill them. The man they were harassing,Ginter de Lavirac,will thank Geralt for his help and offer money in exchange for his protection. Agree to start the quest.
Completing The Walk
Ginter will be movingfrom the starting pointto a spot at theend of the docks.Along the way, he will beattacked by two more groups of enemies.You’ll need to bothprotect him and kill his assailants.
Gintermust survive his walk.You can track hishealth on the left side of the screen.Being proactive and aggressiveshould be more than enough to keep him breathing.If he takes a beating, he willregenerate his healthbefore the next encounter, making things easier.
At the end of the walk, Ginter willtalk to a group of criminals.He introduces Geralt ashis bodyguardand negotiates payment for some fisstech. Geralt will besurprised that he’s helping a drug dealer,giving you two ways to deal with the situation.
Back Ginter Up
Ginter will behappy with Geralt’s help.
Either way, you will receive aten crown rewardand experience points for completing the quest.
