They’re eager for battle and for great deeds to prove their courage and honor, taking any opportunity to demonstrate such.The Witcher 3quest, Brave Fools Die Young, lets you witness the unfortunate result of such displays going wrong.

The unmarked quest takes place on Ard Skellig, at the foot of a tall monument in the center of the island. There, you’ll find a man struggling with a broken leg and his annoyed friend after the former had fallen off the monument while lighting a fire at the top.
Where To Start Brave Fools Die Young
You can find the two men at the center of Brave Fools Die Young between the settlements ofFayrlund and Fyresdalon Ard Skellig, the region’s largest island. They’ll call out for help when you pass by, making them easy to spot once you’re in the right place.
Youwill not be able to complete this quest if you leave.The men will not be present after you depart, making your first encounterthe only time for you to complete the quest.
One of the men, Petter, is in agony, havingslipped off the monument and broken his leg.He tells Geralt that he’d climbed to the top of the monument tolight a ceremonial fire at the toponly to havefallen off.
You’ll have the chance to offersome celandinefor the pain after hearing Petter’s story or to leave him to his fate. There isn’t much for Geralt to do beyond providing the herbs, ending the quest here.
Where To Find Celandine
If you haven’t got any celandine on you when you meet the men, do not worry. There isa conveniently-placed celandine plantgrowing near the monument.
Go down thesouthern slopeand look out for theyellow-petaled flowerhalfway down the path. It’ll give youa single portion of celandinefor Petter’s treatment.
