Investing in real estate is a tried-and-true strategy, especially in cities. While properties generally appreciate over time, circumstances may lead to the investments decreasing in value. One such possibility would be a monster invasion, which can be rectified with the help of a professional. InThe Witcher 3,that would be Geralt.

All you need to do iscast Aard on the crystal. It’ll explode and send Geralt rolling back, causing the barrier to fade away. Now that it’s been freed, the elemental will begin its rampage.

How To Defeat Therazane

You’ll have to kill the earth elemental, Therazane, before it can bring the cavern down. It’s alarger, tougher earth elemental, with the same rock-hard armor andslow, devastating attacksthat its brethren are known for.

It’s especially important tomaintain Quen throughout the fightbecause of itsmany area-of-effect attacksthat can behard to avoid in the close confines of the cavern.

Alongside itsslow swings and stomps,Therazane will manipulate its element tosend walls of rock at Geralt, both as a long-reaching ridge or as a circular explosion. They are surprisingly fast and difficult to avoid, though you canprevent this by throwing a Dimeritium bomb.

The elemental attacks arelikely to damage the wooden supportsand should be suppressed early on ifyou want to ensure Dysart’s survival. If you haven’t got Dimeritium bombs,Northern Wind works in a pinch, though it won’t last as long.

If the fight is going poorly, and youneed some space to recover, you canescape through the way you came. The opening isn’t large enough for Therazane to fit through, giving you some breathing room.

Once you succeed in slaying the elemental, remember toloot its remains for the trophybefore returning to Dysart at the Kingfisher Inn. He’ll promptly provide payment, ending the quest.
