The Keeping The Old Traditions quest is one such challenge where your goal is not immediately apparent. Luckily, this guide will help you locate the initial quest Item, as well as explain how to complete it.

How To Complete The Keeping The Old Traditions Quest

This short side quest can be found in theSouthern section of the Dry Steppes region. It begins with a book named ‘TheLonely Offering,’ which you will find propped up against a rock at the side of the road.Clicking this book will reveal a riddle:

Though timeworn, you endure. Before your colorful kin, I say: Yes, I Keep our traditions!

The quest will then ask you to go to a nearby area called theValley of the Strayed. While you won’t find any obvious objectives to complete, you should travel to the area andstand in front of the large stone monumentcarved into the wall of the valley.

Using your Emote Wheel, perform the Yes emote before the statue. This will spawn aHidden Chestnearby, which will complete the quest once looted. While this is a simple task,the Yes emote is not added to your Emote Wheel by default.

You will have to manually add it using theCustomizebutton, found at the bottom of the Wheel. Once clicked, you will see a list of all available emotes.Simply click on Yes, and click an available Wheel slot to add it.
