This quest is a desperate race against time, with Geralt and Yennefer rushing to a tower on Undvik while the fabric of reality warps around them. It’s fast and intense, though it is a far cry from the challenges that preceded it. If you need any help reaching the end, we’ve got you covered.
Racing To Safety
There is no time to catch your breath after finishingOn Thin Ice.As soon as Geralt and Yennefer emerge from her portal, they find themselves in the middle of a meteor shower, with exploding rocks falling from the sky.
You will need torun straight, past the giant’s ship and to safety.Youshould not get hitso long as youkeep moving.
Keep going until youfind a pair of horses.Mount up andfollow Yennefer on horseback,ignoring the monsters along the way.
Yennefer will move in unpredictable ways. verify toride behind herto have the best chance tofollow her smoothly.
Eventually, you willdismount the horsesand run into a blizzard on foot.Yennefer will create a shield,protecting you from the deadly cold. At the same time,Hounds of the Wild Hunt will assault you,forcing you to kill them in turn.
Completing Tedd Deireadh, The Final Age
Your pursuit ends when Geralt and Yennefer encounter abarrier protecting the tower.The sorceress willopen a hole for Geralt to enter,locking herself out in the process. The rest of the quest is a cutscene.
Geralt will confront Avallac’h, who refuses to fight back. Ciri will stop them before things turn violent and tell Geralt that it washer choice to enter the tower.It is, as she explains,the only way to stop the White Frostfrom ending more worlds.
There isa final dialogue choice at the end of the cutscenewhere you can choose how Geralt will respond to Ciri’s declaration.You cannot change the outcome,no matter how hard you protest.
Ciri will step into the tower,with a flashback of each important decision you made.From here, the quest will end, with the game concluding inSomething Ends, Something Begins.
