Dungeons are one of the main forms of content you’ll be completing inDiablo 4. Normal Dungeons reward Legendary Aspects upon completion that you can unlock in your Codex of Power, while powered-up Nightmare Dungeons offer an increased challenge for even better rewards, including Glyphs.

Below, we’ll take a look at where to find this Dungeon, its entire map layout, and how to complete each of its objectives.

Dungeon Map

Dungeons have slightlyrandomized layouts, but the maps in the image gallery above will give you an idea of what to expect.

How To Complete Cultist Refuge

As its name suggests, the Cultist Refuge is full ofCultist-type enemiesin its first half, andWerewolvesin the second half. Bringing anElixir of Man-slayingfor the Cultists or anElixir of Beast-slayingfor the Werewolves can make your progress a bit smoother.

Your first objective in this Dungeon is to simplyslay all enemies in the Halls of Assembly. This area is relatively small, so finding and killing every enemy should be no problem.

After you’ve slain all the enemies, an Elite enemy will appear, namedRakshasi. Kill this Elite and it will drop theCultist Key, which you may use on the door to open it and proceed to the next part of the Dungeon.

Before you’re able to continue, however, you’ll enter a small room where arandom trapwill impede your progress. Sometimes, aSkeletal Constructwill appear that you need to destroy before you can continue, and other times you’ll be ambushed by Werewolves. In this case, flipping two leverswill open the door to the next area.

As you make your way through this next area, you may noticeWerewolves trapped in cages. You can interact with the cages to free the Werewolves, but they willimmediately attack you, so only free them if you want to fight them.

Your final objective in the Cultist Refuge is tofind and kill two High Priests. Again, this area isn’t the largest, so you should be able to find and kill these two Elite enemies before long. When both High Priests are dead, the Dungeon will be complete, and you’ll unlock theFlamewalker’s Aspectin your Codex of Power.
