Each puzzle you must solve within the Jikais Shrine has you escape a room with one or more of Link’s new abilities, having you rack your brain trying to figure out a master plan to break out of your imprisonment. you’re able to find the Jikais Shrine in theeastern portionof theMount Lanayruregion.
Jikais Shrine (Jailbreak) Walkthrough
Escapingthevarious roomsof theJikais Shrinewill require you to use several of Link’s new abilities, making hisAscend and Ultrahandimmensely valuable. You can find the solution to all puzzles and how to reach the Treasure Chest in the sections below!
Jikais Shrine First Puzzle Guide
Thefirst puzzleof theJikais Shrineis oddly the most involved one, as you will immediately seeseveral large blocks on the wallas soon as you enter. There will betwo blocks on the leftside andtwo on the right.You mustmove them in a specific way and order to escapethe room.
Your first step is tofocus on the two blocks on the right.Move thebottom-most block all the way to the left,thenmove the upper-most block to the rightbuthave it hang slightly over the groundthat has been exposed from moving the first block.
Then,go to the left side of the roomandmove the bottom-most block all the way to the rightand theupper-most block as far to the left as it can go.After doing this,return to the right side of the roomand follow the next steps.
Once back on theright side of the room,stand underneath the upper-most blockand useAscendto pass through it to get on top of it. From here, you canGlide down to the bottom-most blockon thelefthand sideof the room.
Since you rearranged these blocks earlier, you can safely land on this block without bumping into the other one. Once you’reon top of the bottom-most blockon the left side of the room, use yourUltrahandtomove the upper-most block above the one you’re on.
Ensure youget the block above you and underneath the openingabove you. When you have it properly positioned, useAscend to get on top of itandclimb into the opening.From there, useAscendonce more toget into the next area,solving the first puzzle!
Jikais Shrine Treasure Chest Guide
When in thefollowing area,you will see aTreasure Chest sitting atop an elevated platformthat sitshigh above the ground.To get this Chest,simply stand underneath the platformand useAscendto pass through it andonto the same platform as the Chest.
Open the Chestto receive aMagic Staffwith anAttack PotencyofFour.Don’t let it fool you, though, asits power comes from attaching Gems to itto draw outElemental Damage!
Jikais Shrine Second Puzzle Guide
With the Treasure Chest acquired, look straight ahead from it to find aLong Stone Slableaning against a pillar.Grab hold of the Long Stone Slab with yourUltrahandandflip it horizontallyso it’slying face-down.
Next,raise it above the pillarit was leaning on andplace it on top of it,buthave a portion of the Long Stone Slab hang over the groundyou’re currently standing on. Youcan angle it to give yourself more roomif need be.
After getting it in position, useAscendtopass through the part of the Long Stone Slab hanging overhead.Now you canuse Ascend again to pass through the ceiling,but there’s an interesting aspect to this section of the Shrine.
As pictured above,if you Ascend through the ceiling at the right spot,you will actuallycome up through the ground beside the cellin thenext room,meaningyou will complete the Shrine if you do thisandcan skip the next puzzlealtogether.
If you happen to do this, then you can claim your Light of Blessing and be on your way. If not, jump to the next section to finish things up!
Jikais Shrine Third Puzzle Guide
If you wereunfortunate enough to land yourself in the cellafter Ascending through the ceiling, you can finish the job bygrabbing the Long Stone Slab behind you(opposite where the Light of Blessing is) with yourUltrahand.
From here,lay the Long Stone Slab down horizontallyso that it’sface downandplace it over one of the corners of the cell.Part ofthe Long Stone Slab should be hanging over the inside of the cell,enabling you toAscend through it.
Once you’reon top of the Long Stone Slab,you canjump outside the cell and claim your Light of Blessing,completing the Jikais Shrine!
