Strongholds are a major part ofDiablo 4’sopen-world progression, as freeing them from Lilith’s control helps to uncover key areas of the map and can even open up additional Quests and Waypoints. They can be completed solo or in a party and provide a large amount of Renown with the region they are found in.

Omath’s Redoubt Stronghold On Map And Objective Circles In Diablo 4

Your first goalis to find a way into the Stronghold itself, which will involve eitherclimbing up a rock ledge and jumping over into the fortressorclimbing a broken section of the outer wall, depending on what direction you approach from.

You will then be asked tolocate four specific objectsaround the area, displayed in theyellow circles on your minimap. These objects are:

Clicking on each object will spawn a group of nearby enemies, including one Elite.

Kill off each pack before moving on to the next. After finding all four objects, you mustclick on the Ceremonial Staff in the center of the Stronghold. This will summonHigh Priestess Hadar, the final boss.

This boss enjoysteleporting aroundandsummoning increasingly large numbers of Skeletonsto aid her, but she is not a particularly tough fight, so you should be able to whittle her down.

Watch for herfrontal explosions that will spawn a line of large red circles. These detonate after a small delay, but you should have time to dodge, as the casting speed is not very high.

Hadar hastwo types of teleports. Theshort-range variant will simply cause her to reappear in a nearby location, spawning Skeletons as she does so. You shouldfollow the blue wispsto her new position and keep attacking.

Her longer-range version will likely take her out of your vision rangewhen she begins casting a large AoE blast. Try to reach her as quickly as possible and deal enough damage todestroy her shield, thereby interrupting the cast.

Although Hadar summons Skeletons throughout the encounter, they are generic, weak enemies, and you should only focus on AoEing them downwhen their numbers start to restrict your movement.

Defeating this boss will reward you withGold, Experience, and a random assortment of high-quality items.

After Hadar has been slain, you simply need toclick on the Wanderer’s Shrineto cleanse the Stronghold.

Once you have done this, the Stronghold will still not transform into a friendly area, as Undead enemies still roam around, andthere will not be a Waypointpresent. However, you will receive the following rewards for your efforts:
