While some adventures present epic stories with satisfying conclusions, the short one-off quests still hit the mark as equally engaging. From silly odd jobs to hunting down ghosts, Link likes helping out, especially when there’s a reward in it. Jerrin’s request is one such bite-sized adventure that feels like it was worth every one of the minutes it takes to complete.

How To Start Who Goes There

Poke around the Emergency Shelter at Lookout Landing,where you’ll notice Jerrin has a quest marker above her head. Approach her and hear what she has to say.

She’ll go on abouta strange voice she wants you to investigate coming from a hole in the wall. Jerrin believes it’s a demon of some sort, but we’ll see about that.

Look behind Jerrin to spot the hole she’s referring to; it’s a small Link-sized hole that you can crouch through. As you approach, you’ll begin to hear the voice yourself.

Following The Voice

Once you step inside the hole and move forward, you’ll see you’rein the Royal Hidden Passageas the discovery pops up.

Ahead of you,the cave has been sealed by a bunch of fallen bouldersblocking your way.

Grab astone hammer to clear the wayopening up the passage before you.

Bomb arrows, stone hammers, or certain abilities – like Riju’s lightning strike – can all break the stones blocking your path.

Now there will bea fork with two more pathsblocked by fallen stones.Behindthe right path, you’ll begin to hear more beckoningsfrom the strange voice.

Break the stones in the way and enterthe room with the statue in it. Interact with it to hear how excited it is to see you.

A Bargain With A Statue

Now you’ll be face-to-face with a strange stonestatuewho wants to make a deal with you.

Once it finishes talking,the statue will take one of Link’s heart containersand laugh about still having its touch.

Link reports back to Jerrin to finish Who Goes There In The Legend Of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom

The dialogue will end, and a new quest, “A Deal With The Statue"will pop up. Continue talking to the statue to finish it while you do “Who Goes There?”

You canask for your heart container back or exchange it for a stamina upgradeinstead.

This introduces you tothe essence-swapping mechanic where you can exchange heart containers for stamina and vice versaif you regret your choices.You can read more about the mechanic from our guide.

Once you receive your essence back, the other quest, “A Deal With The Statue” will be completed.

Exit the passage andreturn to Jerrin.

Quest Rewards

When you return to Jerrin and tell her about your findings,she will explain the nature of the horned statue and reward youfor your detective work.

If you return to the cave and follow the left path, you will finda Like Like that will drop theirLike Like Stonewhen defeated. Use it in Elixirs.

You’llreceive 20 Rupeesfor your troubles and a new mechanic to use whenever you see fit.
