Many of the Quests found inDisney Illusion Islandhave small challenges or puzzles for you to overcome, others will have you face off against a formidable boss, and some will even throw all of the above at you, making for one daunting journey ahead of you.

However, some Quests will be much more manageable, onlyserving as a way to grant you much-needed and very powerful Abilities.Such is the case for theA Large Downwards Force Quest,which will reward you with theGround Pound Ability,enabling you tobreak through those pesky floorsyou’ve undoubtedly encountered during your adventures.
A Large Downwards Force Quest Overview
As touched on above,A Large Downwards Forceis a Quest thatfocuses on you obtaining the Ground Pound Ability,withthe remainder of the Quest involving you backtrackingto areas you’ve been to several times already.

A Large Downwards Force Tasks
Find A Large Downwards Force Guide
Immediately uponcompletingthe ‘I’ll Be A Smuggler’s Uncle’ Quest, you willbegin A Large Downwards Force Quest,with thefirst Taskbeingfinding said Large Downwards Force.To do this, you mustreach Mazzy,whoyou can see tinkering away at his workbench to the west of the Checkpoint.
However, you will have totravel a bit further to actually reach Mazzy,but it’s not a complicated or long trudge by any means.
Reaching Mazzy
To reach Mazzy,head west from the Checkpoint, jump onto the moving platform, and ride it upbeforejumping off it to the left.Here, you will seea Bell on the ground. Hop onto it to move the platform above you to the rightanduse the height of the bounce to land onto it.
From here,jump to the platforms to your right, then Wall Jump to the area to the upper left,andcontinue heading west.Gopast the Checkpointuntil you see an area where you candrop downinto.Follow this path directly to Mazzyto acquire the much-neededGround Pound Ability!
Remaining Tasks Guide
With theGround Ability now in your possession,you aremore or less finished with the Questaside from a few remaining Tasks that involve youbacktracking to areas you’ve already been toa handful of times. Nonetheless, you can learn more about these Tasks in the sections below!
Reach Teleporter In The Library
After speaking to Mazzy,youronly exit will be via Ground Pounding the floor beneath you,leading to aCheckpointandanother breakable floor. Follow this path out,and then headsouthwest,which will eventuallyspit you out near the Library.
On your way through this pathway,you will meetDash Dolphin,aPhotographerthat willgive you a Camerathat allows you tosnap photos near objects and pieces of the environment that look like Mickey Mouse Ears.
After speaking to Dash Dolphin,continue southwest, break through yet another floor,and you will be inGizmopolis,meaningyour map will be filled out with the rest of the path neededto reach theTeleporterin theLibrary.
Teleport Or Travel To Canopy
Once you reach the Library,you will see alarge UFO-looking object. Interact with itto beTeleported instantly to an area just nearby Canopy.Break through the ground here, then headnorthwesttoreach Canopyand complete this Task!
Return To Dex
Once in Canopy,head west to where Dex usually istodiscover that he is no longer there,triggeringa brief cutscenewhere the crew talks amongst each other beforecompleting the Taskand Quest!
