Your visit inThe Witcher 3leaves no doubt that Velen is made of tragedy more than anything else. Wherever you turn, there is some small sign that the people trapped in the region have had their lives ruined by monsters, war, bandits, or some combination of the three.

It’s a depressing notion, one that you’re able to forget by chasing loot. The Treasure Hunt: A Plea Ignored lets you do both at once by having you investigate a burned-down house with some loot still left in the wreckage. It isn’t as easy as it sounds, though. You’ll have to contend with a grave hag as well.
Where To Start Treasure Hunt: A Plea Ignored
Go tothe southwest of Velento find this treasure hunt. It’s a short distancesouth of Condyle,a small village in the area. Follow the southwestern road, bringing you to a peninsula with a single, burned-down house.
When you arrive,use Geralt’s Witcher Sensesto find adead body laying near the building.This body has both thekey and letterneeded for the quest. Read the letter to start the quest, whichhighlights the peninsula as a search area.
Finding The Loot
Before you may start searching, you’ll beattacked by a grave haghovering about the area. This necrophage will attack as soon as it notices you, giving you little choice in the matter.
Grave hags are some of the most dangerous necrophages in the game. Aside from the obviousvulnerability to Necrophage Oil,you may useBlack Blood to reflect some damage back at it,if you are being blindsided by its faster, tongue-based attacks.
Once you’ve killed it, head toward the burned-down house and circle to thewest side.Geralt’s Witcher Senses willhighlight the chest,still intact despite the fire. Looting it will end the quest.
The chestcontains Harvall, a steel swordthatincreases Igni Sign Intensityand provides achance to set enemies alight.It’s perfect for pyromaniac witchers.
