Where To Start Treasure Hunt: Battlefield Loot

This treasure hunt is in an inaccessible locationwest of Oxenfurt.The easiest way to get there would be toFast Travel to White Eagle Fortwhere the questThe Volunteertakes place. From there,ride Roach to the northernmost point of the swamp.

The swamp ischock-full of monstersthat willspook Roach.You will have no choice but toride past them,if you do not want to fight. If youdo not have a good set of blinders,consider drinkingNekker Warrior Decoctionto manage her fear better.

You arelooking for a single Bilge Hag.The monster will behave as you expect, attacking Geralt immediately in a manner similar to aWater Hag. After killing it,search the area for a key and note.Reading the note willstart the quest.

Where To Find The Treasure

After reading the note,use Geralt’s Witcher Senses to find a trail of blood.It will lead you a short distance to the south, where you will finda treasure chest behind a set of barrels.

Cast Aard on the barrelsto blow them to smithereens, allowing you to empty out the chest and its treasure. While the exact treasure is random, you are guaranteeda relic-grade sword.

The quest will end once you empty the chest, letting you move on to other, more pressing matters in Geralt’s life.
