The journey is just the start of the trouble. There will bea large group of drownersin the area that you will need to kill before you can start searching.

After you have dealt with the necrophages,use Geralt’s Witcher Sensesto search fora body slumped against a structure.Theletter and key needed for the questremains on the remains.

Finding The Treasure Chest

As the letter implies, the deserter hadleft a trail of bloodbetween his final resting placeand the treasure.Once again, you canuse Geralt’s Witcher Sensesto follow the blood with ease.

The chest isblocked by some barrelsthat you will need todestroy with Aard.Once they have been sufficiently disassembled, you canempty the chest.

The chestcontains Headhunter, a steel swordthat hasinnate armor piercingandbonuses to both the chance and damage of critical hits.
