There isn’t much reason for you to visit Undvik’s northern tip for most ofThe Witcher 3.That said, if you’re looking for an excuse to visit the mysterious tower looming over the island, the Treasure Hunt: Precious Haul, would serve as a good reason.

It’ll have you descend to the treacherous coast surrounding the tower, where the carcasses left by beached ships have gathered. While a grim reminder of the dangers brought about by the ocean, it’s also where you’re able to find long-lost treasure sealed away in sunken chests. Where To Start Treasure Hunt: Precious Haul

You’ll need to reachUndvik, a large island in the west of Skelligeto find the quest. You should completeThe Lord of Undvik,a major part of Geralt’s time in Skellige before starting the quest. It’ll unlock Fast Travel points that will make reaching the quest easier.

Once you’ve arrived,go north from the Abandoned Villageuntil you reach the coast near the northernmost tip. From there,descend the cliffsand look for acorpse laying on a wrecked ship,where you can find aletter and notestarting this quest.

Be careful when descending the cliffs.You may end upkilling Geraltif you move too quickly.

Where To Get The Treasure

The note will lead youto the north,where you will have todive into the oceanto find the chest. While the swim isn’t long enough to need Killer Whale, you will beswimming into siren territoryalong the way. The flying monsters will almost certainly attack you.

If you are fast, you candive in, get the treasure, and swim awaylong before the sirens can attack you.

If you cannot evade the sirens, trysubmerging and shooting them from underwater,where your crossbow will deal more damage and where they are at their most vulnerable.

With the chest emptied, the quest will end with Geralt richer than when he started.
