Sundelions On The Surface Of Hyrule

Whilenot the most prevalent here, you’re able to find Sundelions on the surface of Hyrule. Based on the Hyrule Compendium, it’s noted that the flower can be found in Hyrule Field and the Eldin Canyon. These are large areas, but more often than not,Sundelions appear on or around fallen ruins.

To efficiently farm for Sundelions, your best bet is to take to the skies.

Sundelions On Sky Islands

Sundelions are themost common on sky islands. Here, you will be able to find Sundelions in abundance. We suggest heading to any sky island and exploring;you are bound to find Sundelions in a sunny spot, such as the edge of a ruin.

Once harvested,Sundelions will take a few days to respawn. If you are looking to continuously farm from the same spot,we suggest having a farming ‘route’.With this, you can visit multiple sky islands and gather Sundelions.

By the time you loop back to the initial island you visited, the Sundelion may already have respawned. To speed up the respawn process, be sure to sleep (or crouch near a campfire) at night.

Be sure to revisit Sundelion locations after a Blood Moon, as they seem torespawn during this event.

The Forgotten Temple

The Forgotten Templeis located within Tanagar Canyon and is important for the questline involving Impa. The temple itself is quite linear, with a final chamber where you may find Impa. Near the end of the temple, you will be able to find several Sundelions growing among the ruins.

South Eldin Sky Archipelago

Another great location for Sundelion farming is the South Eldin Sky Archipelago. This islocated west of the Water Temple, and is made up of several islands. You can also findKadaunar Shrinehere, allowing you to teleport quickly and gather Sundelions.

North Necluda Sky Archipelago

TheNorth Necluda Sky Archipelagois located to theeast of the Great Sky Island, and serves as another place to farm Sundelions.Josiu Shrineis also found here, so you can quickly fast travel and include this in your farming route.

Yiga Clan Drop

This is a great way topassively get more of the material while you are traveling between other locations.

Using The Sensor+ To Farm Sundelions

One of the best ways to find Sundelions in the world is byusing the Sensor+.By helping Robbie at the Hateno Village Research Lab, you can unlock the Sensor, which helps you locate shrines.

You will be able to upgrade this into the Sensor+, which will thenallow you to locate other objects. With this upgraded sensor, you cantarget items in your Compendium; this means that if you have taken a picture of just one Sundelion, you canset up a sensor to beep when you are near other ones.

If you are farming Sundelions,we suggest turning this on so you won’t miss any hidden flowers.

How To Use Sundelions

To utilize theGloom-healing effectsof the Sundelion, you will first need to cook them. This is simple; use either a cooking pot or a Zonai pot tocook some ingredients together with a Sundelion.

The result will be a dish thatreplenishes hearts and heals your Gloom damage. If you are in a pinch for ingredients, you can alsocook the Sundelions alone, with no other food items.
